A. I've had a long standing fascination with agony aunt columns. I hoped to bring them into the Internet age and harness the wisdom of 1000s of different people.

A. My time goes in for free as a part time effort, and all the moderators are volunteers :-)

A. 2 October 2007: Each answer will be assigned to a number e.g. this might be 50146 so if you want to refer to another answer, rather than saying something like "to female anon answer below" you could say "to 50145" so people would know who you are referring to.
