There are over 40,000 questions here on dearcupid and some absolute gems in amongst them. Problem is it has been hard to make associations between similar questions in order to get the most out of the site.

So, I've introduced a new feature that picks up key words or phrases in questions and links to other questions that mention the same. So, if you find a question there will be key phrases linked to. At the moment these are at the top of the question while I figure out where best to put the links!

Check it out and let me know what you think

I reckon it's dead useful because it allows people with problems to easily surf to other similar problems but feedback will help me improve it :-)

Thanks for the feedback everyone :-)

I keep adding new phrases to match and have done some other tweaks so I'm pretty happy with it now. I'll leave this sticky'd for another day or so to see if anyone else has feedback! Please let me know!

FANTASTIC! What a great idea! This site is getting better and better, i just love it!

Just wished it was a full time job that i got paid for, what a rewarding job that would be, especially as i am out of work right now with Christmas right around the corner!

Great work Andrew! Keep it going.

That's definitely an enhancement. It should cut down on frequently asked questions and moderators having to hit the 'Asked Often' radio button.

Could I perhaps suggest that you put the words 'See also' above the links?

I should also add that the phrases that are matched are manually added by myself (but then matched across all questions). SO, if you see any questions that deal with common topics and you think a phrase should be added reply here or private message me.

Out of the 40,000-ish questions over 29,000 now have links to others.
