only saw this today...great idea..good to finally put a face to the name. Excellent presentation..understood every word.
Not sure how to use a webcam (dont have one..sorry) or even go about putting something on Youtude Video..not very technically minded im afraid.
Anyhow..its a great idea

Wow. Okay, don't take offence but I expected a balding middle aged guy with a lazy eye. Haha but serious it's weird to know what you look like...and how you talk. I love your accent!
I love the idea but not for me, I would screw up and end up hitting myself, something I'm not so sure DC readers would like to see. I like typing and re-reading everything because I say things I don't mean and I don't think before I act.
My fave saying - "Act on impulse and never regret anything that made you smile."
But I think it's a great idea!

I like the idea. however i think that there should be a point system.
ie : not Just the number of questions, but the quality of them to allow you to post video comments.
or be an established member of.. 3 months.

I usually sit at the computer, early in the morning, in my old, pink housecoat, my hair askew and mositurizing cream salthered on my face when answering these, questions, Andrew. Putting my mug on video would absolutely be a terrifying experience for viewers!! Think I'll stick to just answering questions, through text only...lol. Was nice to see you again, though. Cheers!

The only problem might be that many of us would no longer be available as agony aunts as those tv and film offers would be coming in fast and furious :-)
Well I understood every word you said :] lovely accent. Great job with the site too. And that's a great idea! Although I have to agree with the other aunts, it could take rather a long time to film the thing, what with make-up to get just right, holding my stomach in, new wardrobe..! :]

That would be cool. Specially because I feel like I know some of the agony aunts personally because I've been reading their replies for so long and would love to see them in a video. Personally I wouldn't do it. he, he. I'm hispanic and I'm used to the Northamerican english accent and really couldn't understand 90% of what you said on the video but it's good to see you.

Ooo that would be very cool. I would love to do that after I practiced my response and tried not to get angry about it. I'm not sure how to do it but if there was a tutorial or a -click here to make a video- button it would be great ! I do have a webcam so it could be possible, I'm just not computer smart, ha. Good idea though and love your accent.

I agree with Brooke. I have to re-read and re-write everything I write because sometimes I too get carried away with what I think is the obvious solution but then remember what you are like when you have a problem, kind of lost. So a video answer would probably have to have several takes.

Hi Andrew, are you fishing for compliments here? :), just kidding, but you are cute, it's a nice idea, but I don't think you'll get alot of women involved, before getting infront of the camera, we'll have to put makeup on, get our hair done, and if we wake up with a pimple then that will be a big no no :), good luck.

anyway back to the point, that will be a really intersting thing to do and maybe it'll help shy people come out of their shells and it will be really personal-i like it-however whether i will be trying that im not sure if my confidence is peak enough yet-lol :D:D it'll be a revolution!! xxx

I think I may be persuaded to do a video response or two. This will be especially helpful when trying to write out how to perform sexual positions... now, I don't need to try to find the words. Instead, I can do a live demonstration!!

Honestly i'm scared I would end up screaming at people sometimes lol. Sometimes I need to censor myself and edit what i wrote because i get wound up by certain posts, so i'm thinking if i did a video response it would be completely psychotic and terrifying a lot of the time! 8-0
Thanks for the intro Andrew, it's nice to finally see what you look like, younger than I thought though.
Like Phiatiger, I too am camera shy, I think i'll stick with typing to help out ~ rather than scare these poor people off, they have enough problems as it is.

Nice idea, didnt expect you to be so young (no offence). I think you will find that alot of the aunts here do so well being honest with their opinions as it remains anon to a certain extent. I would certainly be way to camera shy to answer by camera but I am sure that some aunts would do a fab job.
By the way your camera gives a very clear picture, what make and model is it?And out of interest, this site runs very well who is your web host?

I'm afraid the technological requirements for this would be beyond me, and I'd have to buy a camera and figure out how to use it... I can barely manage my keyboard at times.
I find myself rereading and editing my typed text before submitting a reply, not sure I could manage to do a proper answer in front of a camera.
Excuses, excuses. I'm just chicken!
But it seems like a good idea for the tech savvy aunties and uncles of DC.
