I am 5'1 and i am always afraid a guy won't like me because i am too short but it doesn't really matter about the height it matters about your personality and all you have to do is get to kno the guy. and if he doesn't like you for your personality o well there are other guys but if he doesn't like you because you are too short then he is a douchbag there are other guys who will like you only for your personality and not your looks and that is the best guy to go for

My oldest son isn't married or even attached - he's almost exactly my height, weight, body type, etc. His previous G/F (who walked a 100 miles of Appalachian Trail with him) was about 6'0. I haven't met the gal who climbed Mt Kilimanjaro with him this summer.
My youngest son is an inch or two shorter, but he's only 20.

Anybody who falls outside the norm - tall or short, fat or thin - gets picked on as a kid. Tall kids are expected to be athletic, and more mature than their actual age, and often berated when they don't measure up to the standards other people have assumed.
You have a healthy approach! Some guys will be definitely turned off by a tall girl. (Or, for that matter, a short girl.) Some will be turned on. Most will accept it as part of what makes you, YOU. You don't need to worry about pleasing ALL guys, or even SOME guys - just ONE guy. And I hope he adores tall girls!
I'm rather tall at 6'2 (182 cm) but not unusually so. The long, lean and luscious creature I married (over 30 years ago) is about 5'9 (176 cm). I must confess that I have sometimes fantasized about making love with women who are even taller than I - but the fantasy loses its attraction when the girl gets above 6'6 (198 cm) or so.

What about us tall girls? Why is it that there's always some kind of reverse discrimination on these issues... I'm constantly meade to feel like shit because I'm tall and thin and then I read these things from people who are small or overweight and us who are tall or thin are made out to be either freakishly giant or repulsively anorexic. Enough! Yes Klie Minogue is 5ft2 and men love her. Sophie dahl is 5ft11 and Im sure you wouldn't find many men who would exactly turn her away either.
We're all gorgeous in different ways, people are attracted by different people - I am 5ft10, thin and blonde, while my best mate is 5ft2, curvy with brown hair and when we go out we both turn heads for different men.
Why does any one type of person have to be 'better' than any other, it's ridiculous!

I lurve small girls.. the smaller the better I say.. you can keep the girls with legs up to their armpits as they say.
I'm only 5 10' ( or 178cm's for the metric folk ) but there's something about a small girl which turns me on big time. I think most guys are the same, though the vacuous tend to like em tall.

 I'm diddy just like you, i'm 5ft and 1/2... and i always like to point out to people that the 1/2 is very important!lol. I have also worried about the height thing in the past as i always seem to be attracted to tall guys, one of my them was 6ft 3. But i stopped worrying so much about it when i was moaning about my height to my then boyfriend. He told me to stop worrying and that i shouldn't want to be any taller as i'm fine just the way i am--he said i was the perfect height as it makes guys feel all protective over you. So since then i haven't really thought much more about it, my mum is 4ft 10 so i was never going to be a that tall anyway. And as my mum has always told me....All good things come in small packages! :)

 I love tall men and Im only 5ft 3 and 3/4. The tallest I have dated was 6ft 5, me ex hubbie was 6ft 1, new hubbie is only 5ft 10 so I wear flats a lot now as I like to see my man towering over me! One friend of mine is 4ft 11 and her bloke is 6ft 3. Tall men often like smaller women as they feel protective towards them, other men like tall women. So in answer to your question some tall men do like some small girls!!!!

All the guys I've ever dated have been between 5'10 and 6'3. I've never really gone for shorter than that. Now you get up there and flirt till he's yours.

I am 5 ft 10 and my ex wife was 4 ft 10. My current wife is 5 ft 5 and I find women over 6 ft tall attractive. I guess I like women of all heights and I think most guys do also.
Don't worry about it. I'm sure that he would like you. Your height is probably one of the least important things that makes you attractive to a guy. Your personality is way more important than your height.
