These are women how are being paid (a lot!) to have anal sex. If they are enjoying it I doubt you will either. That goes for men too. I've read posts from women who say they like anal because the orgasms from it are much more intense than from vaginal sex -- but they say that because they are sure to stimulate their clitoris at the same time that they are having anal intercourse. It also feels better for some men than regular sex because the anus is much tighter than the vagina, so some men like it better than regular sex.
As far as why men are asking you for it, maybe it is because you have a really sexy ass, so naturally the men want to penetrate it with their penis. Or they have probably done it before with other women, and enjoyed it, so that may be why they are asking you for it.

 I have a theory. Men with smaller penises tend to be the ones who crave anal sex because it feels tighter to their, uh, smaller members. It could be like Dr. Pete mentioned, and have some connection to the porn industry, but oddly enough, of the men I've been with who liked watching porn, none of them really liked the idea of anal sex. Then again, they were all men that had sizable body parts, and probably got plenty of satisfaction going in vaginally. So that brings me back to my original theory - men who have smaller penises tend to be the ones who crave anal sex. You be the judge.

 This is just a guess, but maybe there is a link between that and accessibility of anal pornography over the Internet? I am fairly sure anal pornography is still illegal in magazines in the UK and for the vast majority of men, if they have never seen a particular erotic act then they don't have a sexual desire to do it themselves. This is especially true for younger men and boys, pornography sexualises women at a far younger age and those sexual desires will be at a level on the same as the pornography that they have witnessed.

 I don't think it's a matter of it being "so much better" than regular sex, but it IS taboo and all things taboo seems to spark interest in some people. Add to the fact that the anus/rectum is tighter than the vagina (relatively speaking) which means for better friction for the male.
Seeing as how I've never done it, I have no idea what the fuss is all about. Maybe someone else can shed more light on it than I.
