 I think this is a problem of definitions. "Sex" meaning actual intercourse isn't going to last as long as you're thinking. 10-45 minutes is a fine run. Hell 45 minutes would be a marathon. When people talk about "sex" lasting hours, they mean ALL of sex, including making out, undressing, engaging in foreplay, exploring one another, taking their time, and then yes eventually having intercourse. In some cases, they even mean having sex, then cuddling and going back to foreplay and having sex again later without leaving bed in the middle.

 Ummm sex itself could go from 30secs to a couple hours. Depending if the guy is drunk also.. But normally sex wouldn't even last 40mins. I think you should learn a bit more about sexual activity before engaging in it, please tell me you're using protection?? Generally, sex shouldn't last that long. It can start to hurt the girls (sometimes the guy) and unless he's drunk it means he's got a problem orgasming. Generally. If you have the idea of lasting hours from porn, please understand that porn is false. Whats depicted in it shouldn't transfer across to real world (apart from the 'normal' aspects.) Oh, and some guys orgasm within seconds of sex, so be thankful your first was a long laster

 LOL - it only lasts that long if you have a very very experienced partner and they are interested in your pleasure as much as theirs! Typically sex lasts from 10 minutes (his orgasm) to 30/40 (if you are reaching orgasm too). 2 hour sex is for the extra creative and sensual.Pick up Cosmo - they have lots of suggestions for talking about sex with a partner. The best advice I have read has been starting with what you like about sex, sharing your fantasy, what you would like to try and all when you are not having sex... maybe teasing him by whispering it in his ear when he is not expecting it - turning him on in a place where he cannot have you so he is thinking about it... until he can. Etc - but like I said - cosmo great for all kinds of tips in this department!

You have a lot to learn about sex, I'll tell you that. I don't know where you got the figure of an hour or 2 from, but if sex is lasting that long, usually it means that the guy has problems, or that neither is turned on. Maybe if you include lost of foreplay you can make the hour mark, but that's really it.
