writes: im engaged to this guy i met online ive been with for months now and i know i love him i swear to god i love this man. im 16 and my parents adore him..but lately ive been seeing this other guy and ive sort of started to like him you may think im crazy because im so young. ive met this guy in person now 7 times atleast and i have a ring on my finger that cost about 2,000 dollars. i dont want to hurt him, or the other guy but i think im starting to fall for the other guy too and my heart really has sharp pains going through it and ive talked to my mom and everybody just keeps telling me to follow my heart but idk im confused. i really care for the both of them=( i use to care so much about life and now im so confused and messed up and depressed about the whole thing! please help me.

 I can't believe your parents are condoning you accepting a $2000 engagement ring. . . or any engagement ring for that matter. YOU ARE 16, for crying out loud. 16 is too young to be engaged. You have a lot of life to live before you should even consider getting married. Stay in school. Get an education. See the world. But don't jump into a marriage. Give the guy his $2000 rock back and tell him to call you when you're 25.

 At 16 you are too young to be getting engaged. This is why you are having the problem you are having now... you are too young to be getting tied down into a permanent relationship. I suggest you stick with having relationships without committing to getting married. Wait until you reach your at least 20s before thinking about marriage.
By the way, people who get married a bit older have a much larger chance of not getting divorced. It pays to wait.

 Hi dearie,
I feel u should slow down abit with regard to the stage you are getting in these relationship. I know getting engage is something beautiful and lovely but one have to be ready and i really believe u arent ready for now.
Give yourself the opportunity to date and really get to know these guys more,then perhaps u will be able to know where your heart stands and which direction to follow.
