Okay so I have been texting this boy and we have never spoken in person but a little wave in the halls of my high school. He wants to hang out with me but it never ends up happening. He's very flirty with me on text but he's very very shy. We were going to hang out but he couldnt.I asked what was wrong and he told me he's suicidal! I tend to always fall for guys that are suicidal which is strange.

He told me how much he hated himself and he has very low confidence. I might not like him as much as I did before after hearing this. But he's really cute and really sweet and everyone has imperfections. I told him he shouldn't hes got a whole life ahead of him and he knows but hes depressed. Should I still try getting with him it might be to stressful to be around his negative energy. But once I changed the topic he didn't answer:( And i texted him first twice yesterday should I just go for it and say hey again and ask him how hes feeling or should i wait for him to text me? I waited for him to text me and it took a week but i dont want to feel like im bothering him.

Ima FreAk! agony auntHiyaaaa,

I think you should leave it for a couple of days and then maybe go after him to see if he is alright.

If it gets out of hand you must tell the teacher or someone that you trust that is waaaaaaay older than you because he could literally end up committing suicide.

Maybe you could cheer up him by doing things he likes could be listening to music, drawing, taking him out for an awesome dinner etc...

There's no harm in trying as hard as you can and make sure that you make him feel like he's loved because often depressed people tend to feel like they're unloved and no one wants them and it's a dark tunnel trust me!

Try and try but if it doesn't work gotta go and talk to a teacher or someone because it's dangerous!

Hope my advice helps!

Good luck with you and your friend! :)

Lots of love,

Ima FreAk!
