writes:i have been watching wimbledon and i have developed a crush on a particular female star. i went onto myspace to see if she was on it (it was set to private) and i asked to be her friend (those who have myspace will understand the procedure).the problem now is that i'm not sure if this could be considered stalking. is it?

 We all get crushes from time to time, and its only natural that you have developed a crush for this tennis star. But there are boundries not to cross. So you added her as a friend on myspace, make sure this is as far as it goes and you will be fine.

 Hi there,
People have crushes all the time on celebrities, that's why they have myspace sites, fan clubs, and seperate addresses to get fan mail, etc. As long as you don't actually try to figure out the personal details of this person and/or harass her, then I don't see anything wrong with what you've done. That's what the "add friends" button is for - to add people you know, people you'd like to know, or people/organizations/etc that you enjoy or support. ^_^
