How do you get rid of a broken heart when it’s been broken by 2 men at the same time? I’ve been married 25 yrs. and it’s been a rocky marriage. My husband is living in another state managing our 48 unit apt. complex which has caused a lot of grief for us. He can’t leave them otherwise we will lose everything we invested in them and cause more financial problems for us, and he is having trouble keeping good workers. He had an affair in Jan. and the woman became pregnant but got an abortion. He’s realized now that he never was in love with her and is hoping I will give him another chance. In the meantime, I made a terrible mistake and had an affair with his nephew who is also having marital problems. I think now I have fallen in love with his nephew, but he says he does not want to get into another relationship after he divorces his wife, if he does. He says he has deep feelings for me but because of the family connection, it’s best we keep it discreet, but I don’t think I can see him anymore as I am overcome by intense emotions. I am now confused over how I feel for both of them. I’m so depressed, I’ve lost my appetite for weeks now and find myself crying for hrs. at a time. I live with my 17 yr. old daughter who goes out a lot, so I’m basically home alone. I have no immediate family and my friends are busy with their own lives. What can I do to be happy again?
