A female United States age 26-29, anonymous writes:

Please do NOT judge me. Okay, so I know I have an eating disorder- not like anorexia- but I won't eat in front of anyone (including my parents) except my sister. I mainly eat infront of her because she was anorexic and I'll do anything to keep her eating.

I know I'm fat- not terribly but I hate the way I look.

I WANT MORE THAN ANYTHING NOT TO BE ANOREXIC!!

I know that is terrible but I'd do ANYTHING to be skinny. The only problem is all my friends are normal, and they invite me over a lot and I have to eat with them. I hardly ever eat when Im not with them and if I get desperate I'll eat once then do 200 crunches to burn the calories.

I am in 6th grade and VERY insecure- I wear sweatshirts all the time so that people cant tell how big I am. But I am only insecure bout my weight.

I HATE THIS.

My boyfriend broke up with me about a week ago and I was torn apart- but after a while I was stable.

Then he said we couldnt be friends cause his gf knew that we were kinda secretly dating.

I cut 5 times then carved his 1st initial on my hip with a razer blade. (totally out of charecter for me!!) i NEVER LET ANYTHING GET THE BEST OF ME!!!!!

THIS SUCKS!!

How can I get better self esteem!!

(other than my weight im VERY confident and happy)

turtle86 agony auntI know how you feel. I am not attractive but with confidence it helps. Tell yourself you are beautiful. Look into the mirror and right into your own eyes and tell yourself you are beautiful. List all the pros about you and your life. I know what cutting feels like personally and it doesn't just hurt you but everyone around you.

Let your personality take you to the places you need to go. You aren't fat. I bet you you are actually amazing looking and have are beautiful outside and in. Just remember cutting is not the way to go. You have to turn to someone that honestly cares about you and tell them what you are going through and ask them to help. [:

niki20 agony auntstart being confident tell yourself you're beautiful. you probably are, you have to stop cutting..... you will look back 5 years later and be so so self conscious about them, i know first hand what that blade feels like and the aftermath down the road. the key to make you feel good is confidence and if you want to work out.
