 NO chest hair for me, please! Only a smooth one with little/no hair. And for me, there is nothing more appealing that a skinny guy, or a ''cut'' guy. No, not THAT kind of cut. I mean skinny but with muscle tone and definition. I've never been a fan of bulging muscles. This sounds like a personal ad but it is NOT. I'm just saying that all women have their preferences.
A lot of girls do like a hairy chest, though.
I think that maybe you've been working out, though. She probably noticed.

It's broad, manly, has hair that I find yummy, and since it has hair, it's filled with his unique smell. I just like to burrow in it, kiss it, and drink in his scent. You are correct in saying that women's breasts are more of a source of mysticism for men. The Cult of Boobs, as it were. There's no similar thing going on with men's chests.I do find it entirely probable that the girl in your class thought you were hotcakes and was particularly drawn to your chest.

Fat guys - nope I don't think they are sexy so I don't like to look at their chest. A guys chest isn't sexy to me if there is a huge pot belly under it. But for guys who are musuclar and lean hen I think their chest is very sexy.

 No, I don't think women are as FASCINATED with a man's chest as men are with boobs.
For several reasons. Men look (unknowingly, instinctively and perhaps rather primitively) at a woman's boobs as part of her capability for feeding/breeding and partly out of sexual desire.
Women (in general) take in the whole picture because "we" would be looking for a provider/protector and the CHEST alone would not provide much of a clue to how well a man can do those things.
From a sexual standpoint, I think most women like a nice body but you have more "types" such as notices hands/feet first or butt, legs, face, hair, chest. Whichever.

I personally could not care less about a mans chest. In fact if a guy works out a lot and gets big pecs, I think that looks weird, like he has boobs - not a good look!
So if I were being really picky then I guess I prefer a man with a flat chest over a muscular chest. However there are other physical attributes in a man I care about more than his chest - nice eyes, a nice smile, relatively in shape (but not too muscular), good legs and a nice bum : )

I suppose it's what ever you are in to, I don't thinkthe is a gender to the thing people like. For example my BF is not fussed on boobs, he'd much rather a round Ass... No ones the same
