Can 14 negative pregnancy urine tests be wrong. I just want to know if it's possible to get 14 consecutive tests wrong and nothing else. I'd appreciate some feedback, thank you.

dmartin89 agony auntThe only way it could be a false negative is if it is very early pregnancy i.e. within 7 days of having unprotected sex. And even then, what would make you think that you were pregnant?

List of normal pre menstrual signals;

Mood Swings

Nausea

Breast swelling and tenderness

Extended abdomen

Weight gain

Tiredness

Stomach pains

Constipation

Going off certain foods/wanting certain foods

If it is 7 days+ after having unprotected sex, the test will show it because they are very sensitive at picking up HCG.

Honeypie agony auntHow long after you missed your period did you take them? Did you take all 14 in one day?

If you are worried you are pregnant, but can't seem to figure this out, have a blood test done.

A female reader, anonymous, writes (26 August 2011):

it is either too early to tell in the pregnancy (check the instructions on package for the best time to use the test) or you are not pregnant. If you haven't already, you could try a different brand of test to see what the result of that one is, but the most reliable way is to go to a doctor, get a blood test, and they will tell you. you could also wait a couple weeks for your next period (but even if you don't get it, this still does not gurantee you are preganant, it could be for a medical reason), but I would strongly recommned going to discuss all your concerns with a proper doctor.

So_Very_Confused agony auntwhat person12345 said.

now 14 over say a 7 or 14 day period.. not wrong.

14 seems excessive

why do you think you are pregnant? (I ask because I am amazed at what young women panic about)

did you have unprotected intercourse where he ejaculated inside you... were you mid cycle when this happened?

did you miss a period? when? (not a fair question my friend who was trying to get pregnant did NOT miss a period and had no clue she was pregnant and she was nearly 12 weeks along when she found out (she got two periods while in her first trimester)

A female reader, NennaHB Spain +, writes (26 August 2011):

NennaHB agony auntIf you still are not sure(although you should), check with your gynecologist to tell you when is the right time to take blood tests(the hormone beta HCG). It never fails, it is so sensitive that is used for following the pregnancy all the way. It should give you a clear YES or NO.
