Heya, I know this may be a silly question but I was wondering what sort of Christmas present do you get a guy? I mean, me and my boyfriend are both 14 yrs old, and we love each other very much (yes I know, its only young love but this is for real) but I'm finding it hard to get him something.

I can't really get him anything like shirts or a tie because like we're only teenagers but I want to buy him something meaningful. He doesn't wear a watch or anything thats jewellery-like. Could anyone help me??

Thanks if you can!!

well its difficult to find a boyfriend something, actually i am in the same situation but your boyfriend isn't that picky so you should get him something personalized like a framed picture of you and him with you and your boyfriends name on it, thats all i got but if you have any suggestions for me just reply back.

me and my boyfriend have been going out for 3 months next week and i love him very much and he loves me. he says he is going to get me something really special and he know exactly what he is getting me. i was going to get him a framed picture of me and him and the ticket from our first date and frame it, cologne, a teddy bear just so he has something that will always remind him of me and then a movie night with just me and him:) do you think that would be a good gift... i always feel like its not enough? what do you think?

Ok I am 14 and my boyfriend is 16, yea I know we are young, but we really care about each other alot. Neways don't stress over getting him the perfect gift I had the same trouble last year here is what I did:

1-bought his favorite movie, Wall E, he absoulutely loved that movie once we went and saw it

2-i bought stuffed plushies of Eve and Wall E

3-baked him cookies

then i just wrapped them up, he absolutely loved it he knew it was thoughtful because its something that he really liked. his parents and sister liked it too they thought it was cute.

or you could go to like a pottery shop it your more of the artsy type paint him something but dont just get him anything put some thought into it like an inside joke or somthing and if it doesn't come to your head at first its ok you will get him exactly wat he wants anything from you will make him smile

ps dont listen to the ppl who say your too young me and my boyfriend are young and we have been going out for almost a 1yr and a half trust me if your meant to be it will happen just dont let those ppl get to you.

hope this helped!!!

Okay, we have too many girls posting the same thing over and over. My friend asked me to come and help you all :)

1. leave the 10-13 year olds alone i know you are just trying to help but they wont listen

2. 10-13 year olds - good luck.

NOW to buisness, i am 17 i have been dating someone for 3 years. The best gifts she has given me are:

1. a hoodie (i wear it all the time)

2. planning a movie night

3. a blanket she made (just enough room for both of us O:)

4. this one book O: we both like reading

5. a little zebra cellphone charm (inside joke) ((still on my phone today! :D))

other stuff i cant think of...

I think the goldfish idea is amazing XD really don't sweat it ladies' :D just spend a day with him. Its the best thing ever. Start the day with baking christmas cookies TOGETHER (;D) and watching cute frosty the snowman christmas movies then I suggest a christmas-y horror movie when it gets later..... go ahead and pretend to be afraid..... good excuse to get closer. :]

make the gifts have meaning! if you have been dating for months-years you should be able to think of something! if it has no meaning it will be useless.

good luck this upcoming christmas!

I'm seventeen and so is my boyfriend, we've been together three months and i've been in long-term relationships before, i think people who haev posted derrogitory comments regarding your age and the likely-hood of you two staying together, thus implying it doesn't even matter what you get him are a little cruel and small-minded. whether you stay together or not, you want to make xmas memorable and buy him something special right? tbh, i wouldn't go with xmas cookies, yes they're fun, but that would be an activity worth doing together maybe or on valentine's day? i would stick with traditional, smellys can be good but it is much better to go with something quirky that reflects him. the goldfish are a great idea i bought a goldfish for one of my partners and he loved it, also making a scrapbook if you're short on cash is good. maybe paying for a day out or a ticket to a concert he wants to see? it depends if he's a sentimental guy or if he'd prefer to go out and have fun with you. anyways, good luck and don't pay attention to people who belittle what you have, my mom was sixteen when she met my dad and fifteen years later they have two children and are still married. :) xxx

hmm well, I'm getting my beau a cute t-shirt and am making his favorite cookies :) we've been "offical' for 9mnths today, but we've known eachother for three years and dated once before haha. ANYWAY. i think that what you get him all depends on what kind of guy he is. I mean for his birthday i bought him something from THINGS REMEMBERED. it was a stainless steel dogtag with a cross. On the tag it said Survivor May,7, 2009 and on the back it said : May God keep you and angels protect you. because a few weeks earlier he was in a really bad car accident and almost died. He started crying. SO COME ON PPLS touch his heart. :p

I'm actually going to buy my boyfriend a star for christmas (: i'm not going to be with him (i'll be in scotland visiting family) so i've got a box with letters, cards, a photo albumn and scrapbook, his favourite chocolate and lollies, and other stuff for him. He's pretty much obsessed with skittles so there's heaps of those! :P

I'm also in the process of planning our own christmas but it'll be before i go away (: just a day we can spend relaxing and just being with each other (:

Anyway ladies, -bake him something sweet

-things you've made for him (scrapbook photos and things related to you as a couple)

-lollies/candy

-clothes

-burn CDs of his favourite band/s or one with 'your songs'

-give him tokens or vouchers for things

-tell him you love him!

-buy him his favourite aftershave

-buy him itunes cards

-make his christmas card! (it saves you money if you don't have a job)

-cook him his favourite meal and have a candelit dinner

-take him to the movies

-plan a movie day/night with his favourite movies

And if you're tight on money, make him something! He's bound to love anything you give him, no matter how simple or complicated! Oh, and don't forget to tell him you love him and give him a kiss!

Hope this helps ladies! (:

I was going to get him some beer (his favorite kind) just where we haven't been together long, and that isn't all lovey or anything like that.

I just don't want to seem like a freak for getting him something, and i dont want to seem like a bitch for not getting him something, especially if he gets me something.

okay,

kids under fourteen, and say there going to be with them forever, no, i highly doubt you are going to be.

don't worry about this.

just get him a little something.

and if the guy says he's wants to be with you forever,

that can EASILY change.

...is a bitch. sorry if your relationships all sucked, but you really shouldn't be putting people down. I'm having the same problem. I am older than you. Go with something simple. Get him something relating to a special secret/joke you two have. If you can't think of anything, than make something.

I'm turning 16 in a couple of months and my boyfriend is turning 15 the day before me. (i think it's awesome that his birthday is a day before mine :]) And i think that the people that are saying that they're in love at a young age... all to ya but you have a long way to go... but if ya'll are really meant to be then ya'll will make it. Anyway... most guys love food so try and bake some cookies or cupcakes or something. If you can't bake try to maybe just by him some of his favorite cookies or put a picture of ya'll in a frame. Think of what he likes or some of his favorite things & most guys like to blow up stuff (lol) so maybe you can buy him a late Christmas present and get him some fireworks for New Years and invite him over on New Years to watch him light them off... hey... it's an excuse to see him! ;] I hope this helped!!

2. a pic frame with a pic you two & decorate the frame saying "i love you" or the date you started going out, "worlds cutiest couple" and little hearts

3. a shrit from his fav. store [clearence]

4. colonge because you like the smell of him, not because he stinks

5. a cute little note/peom/card of the reasons why you love him!

*6. if you guys are serious a promise ring

7. a sweatshirt of hs fav team!

8. bake him cookies shapped like hearts that are red with sprinkles

9. if you guys have a little joke buy soemthing to resemble it.

guys may be picky but they appercite anything that some from the heart so dont worry.

*TIP*- if you are going to get a guy clothes, put a little "hint" [or spray in other words] of your perfume so he smell his shirt & think of you.

anything cute like that. dont feel pressuer to go over the top. things that come from the heart are the best 3

merry christmas & good lucky ladies ;)

Wow, i'm pretty much shocked at how many girls are 'in love' with their boyfriends, at such a young age. I'm 14, and yes i love my boyfriend, who is 16, but i realize that it could end at anytime, and I don't obsess or make him my 'everything.' With that being said, don't spend too much money on him. Color him a picture or something, and give him his favorite candy. Anything cute, that is special to both of you. If he is a good guy, he won't care what you get him, just because it's from you he will love it.

Well . . .

My boyfriend just bought a car, so I got him an emergency car kit. It has jumper cables, a first aid kit, 24 emergency service (like onstar), that sort of thing. Its not something that anyone would think to ask for, but it shows you care. Since I highly doubt your boyfriend bought a car, I would go a little simpler. Make him a card. Guys love food, a lot of people suggested baking him cookies, thats a great idea. But honestly, it doesn't matter what you give him or how much it costs. If it means something to the both of you, he'll love it.

Most guys are laid back and will love anything you get them, here are some ideas for everyone. Me and my boyfriend are 16 and we've been dating a year 1/2 hope these help everyone!

A personalized puzzle with a picture of you 2 on it...

Go to www.shutterfly.com you can buy one there.

A teddy bear with a note/card saying sweet things.

Make a collage of all the pictures of you two, or a scrapbook.

Make a tie blanket,of a sports team or anything he likes, these are always a great idea because they are warm and you both could use it to cuddle.

Pay attention to what clothes/hats/etc. He likes so that way you could get him something you know he'll really like.

A army chain personalized with your picture or names on it...go to www.shutterfly.com to buy one

A special personalized poster of pictures available cheap at shutterfly.com

Bake him his favorite meal or dessert.

If his parents allow, you could get 2 goldfish and name then something that has to do with you too like if you have an inside joke or something cute.

A CD he likes/or create one that you know he'll like.

A movie package! Get a box of popcorn,a movie or 2,a blanket, and some candy, then write a card telling him a certain day when you'll have your movie night together!

Hope some of these worked out for you!

Merry Christmas!

God Bless!

Hey ladies!

I really liked the ideas below. The one about the ABCs card that is actually brilliant. I might do that.

my boyfriend just turned 17 and I will be turning 16 tomorrow. We've been together for about 5 months. Our 5 month will be on Christmas eve. Anyways, I get my license soon and I was thinking that when I do I will take him to the mall and let him pick what he wants and also take him to dinner. He said he bought me tons of stuff. So much stuff that he's broke. And I haven't got anything. I baked him and his family cookies but that's it. I feel bad that I'm just taking him to the mall and buying him whatever he wants but he wont tell me what he wants.

But best of luck to you ladies. Remember anything you give him he will like :]

Okay first off you girls who are 10 to 13 are too young to say your in love. Not trying to be mean or anything but i wouldnt get all wrapped in a boy at that age it is crazy. But anyways I am 16 and my boyfriend is 17 and we have been dating almost 1 year. You could get your boyfriend a hoodie(like hollister, american eagle or etc.) colone is also an option. or a blanket of his favorite team if he likes sports. or a picture of you to together in a frame(thats cute) or candy just somthing simple if your boyfriend really likes you he isnt going to care what you get him. Its the thought that counts:)

well i hoped that helped ladies:)

take him somewhere, if something like that is cool with your parents, it depends on where you live. if its somewhere warm take him to an amusement park. if you live somewhere cold try and dig around and see if they have cheap skiing. taking him somewhere will make a lasting memory. concerts are always rolling into town and special shows. see whats going on in your area and surrounding communities. or if you can't do something like that what is his favorite movie or band you can find a cool picture or something on the internet. that would be cool it shows you know what he likes and he will think of you every time he sees it. you can buy a credit card at any of your surrounding malls at the info. center and register it online. well good luck i hope some of that works. merry christmas

So, I'm 15 and my boyfriend is 16, we've been together for about a year. Last christmas I got him a couple shirts, a hat, one of his favorite moveies, and candy. For his birthday I got him a picture of us and a hat and a shirt. For valentines day I just made a card and got a whole bunch of chocolate. This christmas I was unsure of what to get and am still not done shopping but so far i have made one of those tie fleece blankets with his favorite sports team (they're pretty cheap and really warm!) two hats that he pointed out to me that he liked, a picture of me that he had asked for, and a gift certificate to a restaurant (so he can take me to eat of course :p) and I will probably make him something as well because boys love food :)

These are just some ideas, but every guy is different. Pay attention to what they say they like or want, just make sure his parents don't get the same thing for him!

Hope this helps, merry christmas :)

Heyyy ladies!

I'm 13 and my guy's 17. We're a few states away right now though, so I decided I'm going to get him a black hoodie. On the back of the hoodie, in his favourite colour (blue) I'm going to put in spraypaint (professionally) "Property of Jen" (That's me :D)

He doesn't like surprises though, so I told him and he said he'd absolutely love it. I want to get him a surprise, too, but I'm not sure what... he's into animé like Death Note and all and not much else.

I love reading everyone else's comments. G'luck to you ladies. :3

hey everybody :]ya i member wen i had a boyfriend in middle school and i was stuck on what to get him like you guys. Im 16 and my is eighteen =] weve been going out for a year in january. What i have to suggest is make him something. They find is adorable =] FOOD! come onn COOKIES! a teddy bear, a card, the simple things work =] a gift card to where they like shopping. If you know your bf well, you should kno what he wld like, n if u dont, wen u go to the mall next time, ask him if he likes this or this or that ^_^ it works :] oh and smother them in hugs and stuff, kiss them a thousand times on their cheek =] and for the ppl tht say things like ''oh youre too young'' this and, the emotions they go through are the same regardless of if they are 14 or 40. Just dont have sex yet =D some of you guys are lil horndogs

-teddy bear

-clothes! [[boxers, jackets, scarfs etc]]

-cards! home made or not

-go to hallmark! they have the sweetest stuff

-if the guy likes you, he wont care what it is u give him, if its a teddy bear, he'll think its cute :]

-FOOD - make him a cake or cookies or something =] those are easy

-gift cards

i hope i helped you guys, for the past year ive been spoiling and showering my bf with gifts =] its cute seeing their reaction

Me and my boyfriend are both 15, and we have been dating for 5 months but have been bestfriends for 2 years. Hes so sweet and cares about me a lot.

He already has ideas on what hes going to get me for Christmas and is going to the mall this weekend to get them but I cant think of anything good. I want to get him something personal and sweet.

Like a lot of people have said one of the things I want to do is get a good picture of us and frame it for him, or maybe even get him a knife cause he likes to hunt.

He is a baseball player if thats any help.

for me, tickets are the best bet, to a concert or maybe a sports game...but seeing how NONE of you can actually drive to A. get the tickets or B. go to the game without a parent...i would not suggest that. Just make a card, its simply and easy, plus its not like you are mature enough to date guys for 2 years, so, do what you want.

My boyfriend and I have been dating for about 2 years were both 12. He was born Christmas day. I have no idea what to get him. I do have a couple ideas. But i don't know if they're good.

-give him a birthday/Christmas kiss

-take him on a date

-or write him a decked out card.

tell me if any of these are stupid and which one would be the best. We've kissed before but it was just a peck. So if i do give him a kiss it will be longer than a peck, if you know what i mean.

Well i'm 19, and me and my boyfriend will have been together for 5 months this december. I plan to get him cologne. maybe a shirt or two. I want to get him something else i just dont know what yet...i'll probably just walk around the mall until i see something that shouts "SHAWN WOULD LOVE THIS!" For his birthday i planned on getting him the new madden but he already bought it. ( i told him to bring it back so i could buy it for his birthday. i was only joking ofcourse) Instead i bought him his favorite brand of shirts.

And try to remember that if your guy says that he just wants you for christmas...he probably really means it. thats the way most guys are. But if your like me your not going to listen, and i know whatever i get him he'll love it.

here are a few suggestions:

1. cologne

2. cd

3. video game (guys love those no matter how old they are)

4. shirt (pay attention to the type that he wears, casually bring up in conversation what size he prefers, or just be sneaky and look. u should know his favorite colors)

5. shoes (but they can be expensive depending on the brand that he likes...my bf's favorite brand are jordans and nikes which can get up to $200. if u do this make sure u really care about him...i wouldnt spend that much on someone i've just been dating for a month or two.

6. jewelry

7. a nice hat (like a NEW ERA fitted cap) majority of my bfs love those (ask wut size, and if he has one just look at it)most malls have a store that sell nothing but hats. if not u can find them in a shoe store, like foot locker sometimes

-a cute xmas card, saying how much he means to me and how much I miss and love him.

-a picture of him (edited in photoshop and paint) with a text on saying -World's most sexy guy alive!-

-a drawing of 2 people kissing and our names written on it

-a picture of me

-and.. some 'Yo momma' jokes, they're the best! The most funniest jokes ever!

here is an example:

'Yo momma's so fat, when she walked into a hotel and asked for a water bed, they put a blanket over the ocean!'

or:

'Yo mamma's so ugly, your daddy took her to work so he wouldn't have to kiss her goodbye.'

hey everyone! this site is really helping me out with the big christmas delema ...

me & my boyfriend are both 15 and we have been dating for 7 months, and i really wanted to make our first christmas special.

he's into music, skating, guitar, video games & all that guy stuff. he's not so much into sports though, but he does breakdance a little. he shops in hollister, abercrombie, & all those kinds of stores that every other teenage boy shops in.

i would love to buy him something amazing, but i'm a bit short on money ... and i don't just want to buy him a regular gift, i really want it to mean something. i loved the scrapbook idea, so i might go with that. also, i was thinking about getting him a 59/50 fitted, which is a kind of hat even though they are pretty expensive.

if anyone has any ideas that weren't already mentioned on this page that would be a great help! i want him to really love my gift! =] also, heres some more gift ideas :

- a set of "love tokens" that he could use

example : massage, kisses, hugs etc.

- cologne ( any smell you like, he'll want to wear!)

- clothing (find out his sizes from his friends)

- make a slideshow/movie of pictures and good memories of the two of you (if you have a windows xp computer, most of them come with the program "Windows Movie Maker")

- cook or bake him something sweet

- posters

- if hes into music, make him a cd of a bunch of his favorite songs, or songs that remind you of eachother.

- buy a sweater (plain works) and spray it with your perfume, he'll wear it until it's worn out!

- jewlery is always easy

hope i was help and everyone's romantic christmas's work out great!!

Ok everyone, so many people are buying their boyfriend colone or a t-shirt. Here's the thing, colone is too commonly gifted and will seem like you didn't thik about what to get him. (also called a mom gift) and the thing with t-shirts (other than jerseys and band tee's.. those are perfect!) well they'll feel like they have to wear it and it may not even fit plus boys don't like clothes as much as girls do!

-i ordered my bf a chocalate card with merry christmas on it and i have it signed with my name!

-giving him a picture or a scrapbook is also cutee!

-jewerly is not so much the perfect gift because of the same reasons as the t-shirt

-ask their parents or your dad or thier friends for help if needed!

-anything you think of whehn he comes to mind will be perfect

-plus a simple kiss will make his holiday perfect! he probably only wants u for christmas anyway!

Okay. I'm pretty much stumped on what to get my boyfriend too. We've been together for nearly a year (yay!)but I don't know what he would really want, since he won't tell me, and that makes me feel like a bad girlfriend.

I've sorta got an idea from these past posts.

But I've gotta say: guys aren't picky!

We just think they are, since we aren't guys haha. They're probably thinking the same thing when they're picking something out for us. But they like anything and everything. Especially food haha.

So if you don't know what to get him, make him some cookies or pies.

god some of you guys are mental! i mean seriously a 13 year old dating a 18 year old and saying shes getting him condoms? seriously? obviously the relationships just about sex which is wrong because shes 13 and too young. Im not trying to be the one girl thats the hater and all yall talk shit on k? im just simply saying that its dumb to be confused on what to get your guy if youve only just started dating. Ive been with my boyfriend for 5 years and every year i have been getting him a black teddy bear. and other little stuff that isnt thrown away within the next year. something that has sentimental value. But seriously stop stressin because if you do do this its obviouse you guys dont really know each other that well. so before you go out and drop money on senseless items, go out on a date and spend time with your man. get to know him and if you do do this you will know exactly what to get him. sound good? i thought so. have fun

Hey, im 15, and my bf is the same, we've been dating for about two weeks but talking for a really long time and stuff. I love him to death and pretty much always have. he wont tell me what i should get him for christmas, because he doesnt want me spending a lot on him. We love eachother a lot and its hard to decide what to get him.

We have a lot of inside jokes and im going to use someof them, and i want to get him boxers because he has some that i dont really like, mainly because im an overly jealous fool. But i love him and i may get him some boxers and a necklace. something like that for your boy friend will do well, because they'll wear it all the time. I also have to get him a hoodie because i have stolen one of his. Its very warm. =)

I have no idea, I was reading all the responses and thought about stuff, boys are so hard to shop for. Here is a list of stuff I thought of so far -

sweater

watch

concert tickets

colonge

silk and heart boxers

shaving kit

guitar stuff

hoodie (he needs more and i stole 2)

cookies

condoms

maybe that mirror with our song written on it

He's a strange guy, he loves James Bond I mean loves, food, he plays the guitar, and he is all around a complete freak... but he's so sweet, and yeah we are really in love and he means so much to me, I was thinking about also getting him a ring but we we're agreeing to only spend a little money like 10 or so but I can't lol. Hey,

Just as a suggestion; I have a really awesome best guy friend like a couple of gals here, and wanted to get him something for Christmas. We've been getting really close but it seems as of right now he is just interested in being friends; which is fine; he's like a brother to me. At any rate, I call him superman a lot cause he does a million different things all the time, so for Christmas I was going to get him a funny superman t-shirt. I figure it's funny and cute, but it also lets him know that I really do think that he is pretty darn cool.

They first thing you should always think about are things you know for sure they will like and can easily use. I am torn between getting him a gift certificate for an auto shop or repair shop because he loves his car, and it is very new. Also, a shaving kit. I think I may get both. A good idea is always a movie theatre gift certificate if you like going to the movies often, I know we do! Hmm, maybe I'll have to go with all of them! Hope I helped! =)

hey everyone! some really cute i deas on this page....soo many i couldn't even read through them all!

some semi-creepy ideas......

but some really nice ones too :)

but i was wondering if anyone could help me out here. i really like my best guy friend...he knows i like him, and there's a good chance he like me too, but it's kind of one of those things that goes without saying. we never talk about getting more serious or anything like that, but we've been getting closer and it's starting to seem like half the population is talking about "us"...

and i would really like to get him something for Christmas! but i don't think he's planning on getting me anything, so nothing too over the top so he won't feel awkward.

i'm kinda conflicted...i want to get him something that'll maybe make him see that we could be more than friends, but at the same time i don't want to make things weird or awkward between us, seeing as we're such good friends. so no like necklaces or teddy bears haha stuff like that, which is kinda more reserved for girlfriend/boyfriend relationships.

i'm planning on getting him the DVD of a movie we saw together, but a mutual friend and i are splitting the present because she wanted to get him that too. (it's kind of an inside joke between th 3 of us)

ahhah so i'm stumped. if anyone has any ideas, i'd really really appreciate em!!!

Maybe his favourite candy.

I liked the idea someone had of the guitar pic with ILY written on it. Might do that so everytime he plays he's reminded of me. =D

I've also kept all the cinema tickets & train tickets & little souvenirs from our outings and everytime I see him that I'm going to stick down in a book and write all our inside jokes and about the good times we've had.

Maybe.. the dvd of Ps I love you. Just to be sweet. =P

& he's also into the whole guy armbands, things round you wrist kinda thing which i might get him.

Hia. I'm 17 and my boyfriend of almost a year is nearly 19. I've got him some nice cologne and a belt. I've also ordered him a photo of myself that I had taken professionally for him to take to uni (but this was expensive so i would recomend a pic that you yourself have taken). He's quite a romantic person and for valentines day last year wrote me a poem so I am in the process of attempting to write a respose to it, this sort of gift will only cost you a tiny amount for the paper and ink its writen on but will hopefully be his favourite. Things like that are the best. For example you could cook him a romantic meal.

Here are some other things that i've bought/made for him over the year that might help...

Valentines day - Chocolate in the shape of a heart with our names in and a T-shirt

His 18th - A Ben Sherman Watch

When I went on holiday - Necklace and bottle of Rum (please bear in mind that the drinking age in the UK, where i'm from is 18)

When he left for uni - Recipe book and a photo of the two of us

Wow theres so many lucky girls out there who are loved by equally lucky boys. Anyway straight to the point, doesnt matter whether your love lasts or not, its the moment and thought that counts in the present. So last year for Christmas, I gave my boy something different because I got bored of getting him the same old gifts.

I started off by sending him emails on the 1st December.. Each date represented reasons why I loved him.

It just built up the feeling and for Christmas I got him a jar of colourful candy, a Christmas stocking full of things starting with the letter "C" because his name is Chris. Things like a home-made CD, can of coke (fav drink luckily), a baseball cap, a toy model of his fav car, a necklace that had a cross on it, baked some cookies... You guys get what I mean... And then finally got a few of our fav photos together in black and white and framed it with a black frame and painted little white hearts on them myself. Goodluck!

For my boyfriend for his 17th birthday, I got him a bunch of little things: two books by an author we both like, a CD from his favorite band, a $15 iTunes gift card, and a box of homemade chocolate. We've only been together for 3 months so I know what you mean by not wanting to get him clothes or anything along those lines.

My advice is get him a bunch of little things that aren't way expensive but are still really nice. This can be used for any time of the year, like for my bf's Christmas present, I'm planning on baking his favorite cookies for my boyfriend, inviting him to come to my family's Christmas dinner, and giving him a K'Nex set.

Remember that a present doesn't always have to be wrapped.

First off, to everyone that said they were "in love" with their boyfriends, it's likely that it won't last. So don't get any hopes up.

Secondly, for the present. Inside joke gifts are always fun, but get him something meaningful also. Last year I gave my boyfriend a Donald Duck stuffed animal (inside joke) and I wrote him a long letter.

If he's a technology geek, get him something for his computer or a video game.

If he's into any kind of sport, get him his favorite player's jersey or something.

If he likes food, make him some cookies.

If you're willing to spend around $80, you could always get him a mini-digital picture frame from Brookstone or something and put all pictures of you and/or you and him on it, and give it to him like that.

Hope that helped.

okay so yeah boyfriends are always hard

im 16 but i remember being 14. (enjoy it while it lasts!)

a silver/gold chain is always a nice easy gift, because he can wear it n always think of you..

i know my boyfriend lovessssssss the one i gave him and it's something he can kind of show off too

personaly? i wouldnt even spend over $50 cbecause i mean if your really inlove like you say...then it wont make a difference if you picked him a rock up off the street or bought him a new car..you know?

so just put some thought into it..cookies or something are always a nice touch too....

ex: if you have an inside joke...put something little abot it in there like my boyfriend and i have a joke about penguins so i boght him a little stuffed one...its cute n it shows you care but its not too over the top

hope this helped atleast a little :D

a hat(cause i stole his[=)

candy

card

notes

pictures of us

a jacket(cause i stole his fav ahaha)

and a giftcard to like itunes er something

other ideas i might do if i dont do the bag:

ipod(if i could afford it :/)

games

clothes..

yepppp!

i wouldnt get him like cologne or shower junk or gum cuz he'll think u think he stinks ahaha

i would get him a ring or necklace but idk if hes into that since we've only been together for 2 1/2 weeks!

its really difficult trying to figure this stuff out cuz like u wanna be creative and u wanna spend the right amount! its just where do u start! and u wanna be original not just getting him the same ol same ol like food and stuff.

I didn't know what to get him at first but i know now!

My idea for u is some nice Cologne from Hollister or Abercrombie( or whereever?)! A sweatshirt of his favorite team, or from favorite store! Last idea maybe a CD of his favorite band or a series of his favorite show!

I hope i helped.

P.S. Ladies, save the mushy gushy like Teddy Bear's and Frames with pics of u and him for Valentine's Day! It will save u the trouble of worrying what to get him then!

Hey Ladies,

After reading all the questions and responses, I can definitely way in... As someone older who has gone through many couples Christmas', I would definitely NOT recommend the teddy bears or other emotional items! Boys are practical. Buy him a hoody, a new wallet, video game, iPod, new snowboarding gloves/goggles or other items like that. A Christmas item should be something they are going to use. The emotional items like frames, bears, etc should be saved for Valentines Day.

As well, it shouldnt be too expensive. When your under 20, the present should be within your spending limit. Don't go overboard. Save that for when your older and your boyfriends tastes have grown and are more expensive! For the girl with the engraved braclet idea... Please don't do that. I can already see the fights about why he isnt wearing it! Good luck ladies and hopefully you take my advice! Trust me, it works!

Well I'm 15 and my boyfriend [16] and I have been together around 4 months and we are very close to eachother. He is a guitarist and has a bit of an emo/punk edge. For christmas I am buying him an iPod but first I'll upload all 'our' songs onto it and a few pictures. I am also buying him two new piercings so a gift card for a piercing place could be an idea if he likes piercings etc.. His birthday is coming up soon also and I was thinking of buying him a new bottle of his favourite cologne. I am also going to buy him a ukelele, just for laughs. Some other ideas for a boyfriend like mine is a new belt, wallet, hat, video games etc.

I know I would prefer several cheaper gifts rather than one big [or little], expensive gift. That way, there's more presents to open. So get him a big giftbox and fill it with some sweets, a new CD, a letter from you, new headphones, sunglasses etc.

Yeah, hope that helped sweet hearts ^__^!!

Cologne is sweet but it can be interpretted as you don't like the way he smells. there's scarfs, but you can interpret that as he doesn't have any style. then you could go with the cutesy stuff like; teddybears and tell him whenever i'm not with you, you can hug it and think of me, or socks and tell him whenever your cold put them on and think of me. i would not go with the boxers, enless your in a serious relationship.

Okay- so I'm sixteen and so is he. We been dating a bit past a year and this is our second christmas together.(: For all you girls..

I made him a powerpoint before with all our pictures &+ quotes that I MADE and saved it to a disk. I decorated the cd case and gave it to him one day just randomly. He loved it!

I made him a scrap book of our year &+ he loved it.

I'm always getting him clothes just randomly, which just reminds him that I'm always thinking of him, even if out with the girls.

Decorate his car, if he has one. They love that.

Make him cake/brownie, food. Every man loves that!

Get him a seasons greeting card with a picture of you two on it ; write a cute message on it. Put it in a frame &+ decorate the frame for him.

Really- if he is in love with you like he says, no matter how much it cost, no matter where you get it, he will still love you. He bought me a $700 ring thats 1/2 carat diamond for my birthday &+ I can never spend that much because at the time I didn't have a job. But it doesn't matter. ITS THE THOUGHT THAT COUNTS.

Hope this helps peoples out. :)

Hi :-)

I don't know whether this site's still up and running,

but I may as well post incase it helps anyone.

I'm 17 and I've been with my boyfriend for 7 months (11 days! :) )

Recently I've had to buy quite a few presents for him, everything's seeming to happen at once, I love it. :D

He plays guitar, drums, and he's into the "emo" style.

For deb, I got him a really nice ring for $60. It's silver, and has a black barbed-wire pattern on it, and the middle bit twirls.

He loves it and wears it every day, I always see him spinning it, it's so cute. :-)

For our 6 months, I didn't have a lot of money but he loves cake (hahah xD) so I went to a cake store, and bought a huge chocolate mud marble cake, and they wrote "ILY AARON" in blue icing on the top. I also got a card, wrote a little inside joke inside it, and sprayed it with my perfume because he likes the smell of it, and it reminds him of me whenever he smells it.

For his birthday, (it's in 9 days!) I got him -

Guitar Hero III (it comes with the third game, and two guitars)

and the Guitar Hero II game.

I hope he likes it.

For Christmas I'm thinking engraved drumsticks, engraved miniature guitar, cologne, guitar picks, maybe some band tee's/hoodys, and something sentimental like a scrapbook with all our inside joke's pasted (or items stuck.)

Hope this helps.

Bye guys! :-)

this is so confusing, i am 14, and i have been dating the most incredible guy for about 4 months. and he just came over my house, and got my a swarovski glass turtle (because i love turtles) and a cute note, and this adorable polar bear he stuffed himself at build a bear,

now, i got him a journal for him to write in and show me (since he always want to read my diary) and a necklace with a sign for good luck that i got at this really cool flea market. but i started painting him a painting, but at the same time i don't know if it is good enough for him.

i know im young, but age doesnt matter...

I am 14 years old and so is my boyfriend. We've been dating for 4months on jan. 5th. I absolutely adore him. We've already exchange presents and he got me a picture frame of me and him and some of our friends and a box of chocolate (which i thought i wasnt going to like cuzz i dont like nuts but i decided to tried them for him and i love them so much). Anyway i got him a cd with songs that remind me of him. He loved it. Be creative and let them know how you feel in your gift. He'll loved it no matter what.

Hi! Well, I have been with my boyfriend for two and a half years, and he's 18 and I'm 17. Our first Christmas together, I made him a quilt with all kinds of his favorite stuff on it. That does take some time, so be prepared. For our one year anniversary, I took a huge picture frame, and made a collage of all our pictures together, then for our two year anniversary I made him a scrapbook of all our memories together. This Christmas I'm not completely sure what all I'm doing for him but I suggest doing something sentimental for him and then get him some smaller gifts, like memorabilia for his favorite sports team, cologne, clothes, games, or gift cards.

When I was in high school I had a boyfriend that I was so in love with. I made him a scrapbook that made him cry. He was on the basketball team and I was a cheerleader, so I was pretty close with all his friends. He was about to go to college, so I wanted to get him something he would always remember.I got 5 of his teammates to write a paragraph about how great of a friend and person he is and put it in the scrapbook. I took pictures of them and put it next to their paragraphs. I took a picture of him and me and added to the last page. I wrote him a page of why I love him so much. Three years later he still talks about it and tells me it was the most thoughtful present he has ever gotten.
