Marriage is something with problems that come up that you have to work through. Maybe you could start by working through the problems with your families. Convince them that you can make a go of it and get their blessing.

 18 is the legal age of consent for women and 21 for men. There is no need for parents' approval. Just get married at a registrar's office.
