writes:So, i recently begin (3 weeks ago) dating a guy i have known 6 years. We were really good friends when i was dating his best friend and we drifted apart during college. Since last October we have been texting, and chatting when he is at work. 3 weeks ago, we hooked up in a very drunken mess after a night out, we have since been dating. He has been cooking me dinner, we have been going for movies, hanging out, drinking and having loads of sleepovers. Everything is going great so much so that last weekend, he told me he loved me, I love you to bits and Love you loads... we were out on Monday night and had a big conversation about it. Then yesterday afternoon, he randomly came out with 'So when are we getting married'... i know its all very loose in meaning but guys don't bring up even messing things like this do they? I really have fallen for him and i love him to bits, i could picture myself with him for ever!!!! But whats going on in his head..........

 i really think that you should wait but lets say you told him to wait and he insisted , if you really know each other and love each other , and you think it can work , get engaged for a while till you're 100% sure then get married

Il assume he is serious i guess he loves you loads and wants some sort of reassurance that you do to. What's so bad about that. I would tell him you're a bit shocked by it and just talk to him about it. Sounds like you love him too so i wouldnt worry.
