Hi everyone

After the recent spate of "spammings" I've introduced some anti-spam measures.

I don't want to go into them all in detail here but there are numerous systems in place now to help stop, mitigate and allow you to report spam.

The chances of any large spammings taking place (where people bulk PM other folks on the site) are now minimal.

Email addresses and web addresses in unsolicited (i.e. you haven't contacted them) private messages are now blocked also. If you email someone back then they'll be able to send you emails or urls still but this stops them getting through when you haven't requested them (one hallmark of spam)

YOU CAN NOW REPORT SPAM - please do use this - it's just one of the systems in place but if a user is reported more than x times, they can't send further mails until they're investigated. The report spam link is shown when you're reading a private message

If you do spot any problems or the technology gets in the way, let me know or post in the forums if the PM stuff is broken!
