Question - (16 May 2010) 3 Answers - (Newest, 16 May 2010)
A male United Kingdom age 30-35, *kir writes:

My ex and I are having a baby. She's 11 weeks gone.

Now she doesn't want to get back with me at all and I recently found out that when we were together she had cheated on me. I'm so stuck I don't know what to do, do I forgive her and hope we can work things out, or do I continue not wanting to be with her and just be there for my baby?

A female reader, sappygirl United States +, writes (16 May 2010):

sappygirl agony auntWhy do you want to be with someone that cheated on you?

Your responsibility is only to that child, if that is your child.

What you need to do is get a paternity test, and if it's yours

pay child support and request visitation.

Have boundries with this woman but he does not love you so cut your loss and move on

A reader, anonymous, writes (16 May 2010):

She is your ex and that is the way I would keep it. If you don't want to be with someone you can't because of a baby. As she has cheated on you, you need to make sure that the baby is yours.

Good Luck
