writes:When I was 18 I moved from my city to move to newyork to join university I have been here for 5 years now,and I'm done with education and I got a job back home and I decided to move back to my family..I love them way too much to live separately..I met my boyfriend in new york first year of college and he was in the same course as me and we have been dating all through 5 years and even now,so he decided to move to my place and get a job here..my parents have never met the guy and I finally decided to invite him home for dinner and everything was going great until my sister walked in..she's 2 years younger to me,my boyfriend was acting wierd and distant all day,I later asked him what it was for such kind og behaviour considering he's meeting my family for the first time,he said about 3 years ago when we took a break which was just 4 months cause we got into a huge fight he hooked up with a girl and he told me this when we got back and I was ok with it,but the girl is noone other than my sister!!he dint know she was my sister,and she dint know he was my boyfriend..its soo complicated,I don't know what to do?The wierd this I remember my sister saying that she hooked up with a guy and had the best sex ever,it just disgusting..I want to leave my boyfriend?do you think its the right thing to do?

reader, anonymous, writes (31 August 2012): I know of a man that married and divorced a woman.The woman then hooked up with his older brother and they married and had two kids. They would all sit together at Thanksgiving and Christmas and it was as if the first marriage had never happened. The moral of this story is not how true love prevails and how mature adults can move beyond the petty and childish ways of their youth to embrace a loving family no matter how the structure of this family evolves.The moral of this story is in it's testament to how thoroughly a person can be consumed with the denial it took to sit there without having to excuse yourself to be sick and/or coming back and not throwing a punch and ruining the holidays for every one.I don't see how they did it.No. I don't see how the second brother did it.The first brother all but stood on his head to convince him not to marry this woman. And every time I saw the first brother he made some tacky joke about what a chump his older brother is.Before you ask. The older brother and his marriage to her ended in divorce. Like you didn't see that coming?

 I think it is the understandable thing to do. If you're concerned that you may be over reacting or being unfair, then I don't think you have anything to worry about.
It would be weird for anyone. Some will overlook it and stay together. Some won't. I don't think anyone would blame you for leaving him. Totally understandable.

Sounds to me like you and your sister and your B/F need to have a marathon gab-session....
