writes:theres this guy who has come in and out of my life for three yrs now. three years ago i met this guy we were talking and flirting but then he out of no where got in a relationship in the meantime i got to know one of his best friends and started going out with him. About an yr ago i broke up with the guy and around the same time he broke up with his girlfriend as well. A few months ago currently we started talking again and hung out a few times. its clear we have feelings for each other because he said he really liked me and i liked him as well but we wanted to take it slow because i did go out with his friend for a bit which still counts. all of a sudden we stopped talkinga few days ago there was a new years party (my ex was throwing) and i went with a couple of friends me and the guy made up and were around each other holding hands,kissing every second, and he even asked me to be his girlfriend but both of us being drunk i just went along with it. the next day we have been talking like we did in the past flirting talking about how we like each other but he seems to be all talk cause he has not once asked me to hang out after our make out sensions.two nights ago he replied to my text and said good night..not thinking much of it i never replied now its been two days and i havent heard from him. i'm just extremely confused i dont want him to be that guy i always run back to..but i cant even try to be with him when his not even trying. can someone please help me. do i try as much as i can to make things happen? or should i just forget him and never look back again? please help all day everyday i check my phone thinking he'll reply im starting to stress over this!.

reader, anonymous, writes (13 January 2013): This is verified as being by the original poster of the questioni respect your answer but that's the problem. we take it too slow, in fact we took our steps so small that nothing even happened between us. he did previously ask me on a date. assuming its a good thing ,i'll go and see. tonight is a break it or make it in my book. but thank you anyway.
