A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Heyy; i split up with my boyfriend a few weeks back; because he thinks i cheated on him. the story is i live quite far away from my school; so i have a different group of friends during the holidays to who i would hang around with at school. Well; i didn't know him too well before i started going out with him, but i instantly fell in love with him; we'd been introduced at a party and that was it, i loved him and i think he loved me! well it got to the christmas holidays and i didnt get to see him because of the distance between us and lack of money for transport etc.. and i went to a (guy) friends house during the holidays and they had sent him some texts saying things like they had had sex with me etc; pretty much saying i'd cheated on him, this was their idea of a joke but my boyf didnt take it that way and got really nasty calling me a slag etc; before i got chance to tell him the truth he ditched me, and its been a few weeks now and he still wont talk to me; ive told him it wasnt true and my (guy) friends told him it was just a joke but he still wont talk to me; what shall i do? if anything i still want to be friends with him... please help :'(

2dareANDdream agony auntWell I can tell you if he isn't even giving you a chance to explain or here your side, he is not worth it. If he really cared for you and loved you in return he would have the heart to sit down and listen to you.

Being friends with him might not be wise on your half. You still love him and just Being friends will be hard and your emotions will be falling for him. Take this time to let him go and once you think you are ready to " be friends" give him a call. But really if he hasn't even tried to talk to you. He doesnt seem to care much for you..
