GUYS, again, bringing up the player question. I asked about it yesterday under the heading "Does a player ever change his tune." I met with him last night and we had a talk. He swears that he is true, but I really would like to solicit some of your opinions. Please take a look at my previous post from yesterday. Thank you for your time.

They virtually never really change, although the belief that they might change really helps get them laid. Do what you want but don't fool yourself.

THe emotional needs of men are on page 54 with an explanation.

They are based on my years of research with players, and being a player. Addressing these emotional needs will make even the most notorious of players settle down.

hello1 agony auntIf he hasen't stopped by now it's unlikey he will now! sounds like a George Clooney type, decent guy but can't settle down. It's your risk and time by pursing a long term relationship with this man, later down the line he may get scared and do a runner. I read your other question, dosen't sound good he's own freind warned you!! If I was you, try not get too emotionally attached and remember he's a 35yr old player!

So, Frank, what are your top ten emotional needs?

A male reader, Frank B Kermit Canada +, writes (14 November 2007):

Frank B Kermit agony auntYes, Players can and do settle down, IF he meets a woman that fully addresses his top ten emotional needs. That is my experience, and in working with many of them.

However, if the player is not honest about who he is, or what his expectations are, then it cannot work. There are two types: The pick up artist, and the seducer. The pick up artist is short term, and will not consider long term consequences...these guys are too emotionally damaged to committ. The seducer is out for relationships and when a woman comes along that addresses his emotional needs, THEN he will settle.
