Many men may appreciate it, especially if they are too shy or nervous to take the lead initially HOWEVER, I often find that women who do this end up being or feeling EXPECT by the men they date to ALWAYS take the lead, and be a "mommy" to these guys. This leaves a lot of women feeling fustrated to no end.
A few men may not like it when a woman makes the first move, but that comes from either suspiousion (what does she want from me) from high value men, or maybe he wants to start taking the lead in the relationship, but she resists since she approached him first.
If a man is too shy to appraoch you first, bare in mind, he may carry his inability to be dominant into the ongoing relationship.
If he is too happy that she appraoched him, I would take that as a red flag.

I think its great. Its not uncommon in this day and age for the woman to make the first move, in fact i think women should do it more. There are shy guys out there who would probably welcome an approach from the opposite sex.

This is matter of preference for particular man.
In real life both men and women make first move.
Attitude to such situations may be different depending on a wide variety of things.
If your image is important to you, you should follow the Dating Rules in your area.
Community type is one factor that can influence the way people interact with each other.
Another factor to influence preference is individual tendency to go against social norms.

i agree with DV1, sometimes girls can seem really hard to get to know, and you feel a bit weird asking stuff if they ent asking stuff back, not trying to say you should ask all the questions, but its nice having a girl whos as interested in getting to know you as you are them.

I personally think it varys from guy to guy, not every man will have the same feelings or views.

I think that it's great. It's much easier for a guy to get to know a girl when it's on her terms. That way she can't complain that the guy was making her feel uncomfortable by asking too many questions off the bat. It's a good thing.
