Can someone help me here with my insecurities?

A female age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I am very happy with my boyfriend, but I have noticed differences in him lately like when we were first going out he couldn't wait to see me and he would spend every moment with me. After college he would come see me most of the week or text/call/msn me but lately if I try and talk to him on msn he seems to go all quiet or just goes offline, it seems odd because before he would always want to talk to me or communicate with me somehow.

At college he is spending less time with me which I do not mind because we are both very busy people, I am busy concentrating on my coursework whilst he is with his other friends or doing his coursework. I have asked him whether it bothers him that we do not talk as much and he said 'no' because he is boring or doesn't like to talk through msn much. Although when we are together we can talk about everything and anything.

I have asked him if it bothers him that I do not sit with him and his friends at lunch and he said no, I then asked if it did would he tell me and he said yes he would and smiled. He is very supportive to me and my studies and I have asked him how he feels about me before and he said that out of anyone there is no one he would rather be with but now he has stopped telling me he loves me except when I say it to him and I feel reassured when I'm with him but insecure still I do not understand why?

Perhaps someone could help me with my insecurities? Also this is my first proper relationship as I have been very hurt in the past and alot of the time I am very reluctant to enter a relationship through fear of being hurt again so I distance myself from my partner how can I overcome this? is there a problem with our relationship or am I just being paranoid? help would be greatly appreciated thanks x

BadAsh6705 agony auntMaybe you should try to make one time a week when you are both able to be together that can be "your time" and go out together or study together.
