writes:I have a question. I am insecure about my breasts. I have large breasts which men love, but the colored part around my nipple seems realy big to me compared to other breasts i've seen. Does it matter. Do men prefer one or the other? Am I the only one like this.

reader, anonymous, writes (6 May 2008): I'm sure they are perfectly fine. Different guys like different sizes and shapes and even skin tones for that matter. My personal preference actually have nothing to do with breast size at all. I prefer proportionate natural looking breast. I can't stand those out of proportion fake ass boobs.

You're just fine! As everyone has said, breasts, areolas, and nipples come in all shapes, sizes, and consistencies. Learn to love your pair, they are distinctively yours and no doubt, someone will really appreciate them as A PART of the whole you. My personal preference is smaller breasts with large areolas and large nipples. The next guy will have a different preference. I have always loved the woman first, and adapted to loving her body exactly as it is. The only surgery I can ever recommend be breast reduction surgery if the woman had chronic pain or back problems from very large breasts, and of course, it's her choice alone. Love who you are - we do.

 Ok I will be honest with you. My dark bits or aerola or whatever they are called are ENORMOUS!!!!! My mothers and my daughters (16) are tiny and I always thought I was abnormal. Now Im nearly 40 I have seen enough women's breasts to realise that they come in all shapes and sizes and each are different. Dont worry about it most men have seen all shapes and sizes just looking at magazines and you really wont have anything too different to shock them x

 Don't worry at all. I have the same as you. I used to be really self-conscious about them too, but eventually I realized that to most men boobs are boobs.

No your not alone. I have the same as you. It doesn't matter because everyones bodies are different. Every man has different things they prefer. A lot of women would love big breasts. Be happy with what you've been given.

You're not the only one with areolas like that.
Some of us like big areolas (I had a friend who had a thing for them), some of us like them smaller, and some of us like them all the time, whatever their size.

Everyone is different, and some women do have larger areolas (this is the name for the coloured bit around the nipple - areola). To be honest, every man has different things they prefer, as again, everyone's different. It's just personal preference.
