writes:hi im 14 and on my laptop all the time if im not going out ill be on it all the time im awake. Im quite worried about what will happen to my eyesite its perfectly fine at the moment but what will it do to me and how long have i got till it starts going blurry. The screens not in my face its a full arm length away. I really like being on it and dont want to stop going on it and dont want to cut the time down on it either otherwize ill be bored. please help me with my eyesite theorys Reply to this Question

 Try sitting further away from the screen to help.Also i belive the recomended screen time is 1 hour on 15 mins off.And i do believe to much time on the PC can affect your eyes, so do cut back.The blurry eyesight could be down to tiredness or worsening eyesight.Book an appointment at the eye doc, i did and now i wear glasses, but they do help

 Try cutting back on being on laptop for so long. Put more breaks in between. Do say an hour then go and have something to eat or walk to shops then go on again after a break.
I cant say it bad or not bad depends how long your on here for. You could get eyes checked at opticians if your concerend though

 It depends on the amount of radiation being emitted. It is really trying for one's eyes to look at a screen all day. It sounds like you need more hobbies to occupy your time. Too much of anything is really bad, and I suggest more diversity in your life.

ok take a break from the screen every half an hour.
and yes computer screens and laptop screens affect eyesight.
i myself was like you. now i have to wear glasses to go on the computer.
so it will affect your eyes because your eyes are concentrating and that's why it gets blurry after a while.
