 Your completely normal.
Your mum will be as embarrassed as you, are if not more. Dont think she'll be walking in on you anymore, parents forget that children grow up very quickly and she was probably a lot more discreet during her youth.
Try not to feel bad about yourself it is natural to explore your body and healthy, just remember to lock the door next time.

 It's part of growing up. She'll get over it in time. It's going to be a little bit of a shock to know that you're growing up. I think that it's odd that people are checking in on you while you're in the shower... She should have called in to see that you were ok...

 Dont be ashamed, i can see how awkward this situation is! I dont actually see you are doing anything wrong, of course your mum is bound to be shocked walking in on you she must feel embarassed as do you!Either talk to her about it - if you feel you can or both of you will have to just forget about it and not mention it. The only thing id suggest is that in future locking the door, or making sure no one will come in!

I know it's very embaressing to be caught masturbating. I think both of you were embaressed. masturbation is a natural thing. a lot of people do it. some hide it because they are ashamed. I know it's going to be embaressing but i think you should talk to your mother about it. explain your growing up, and want to experiment with your body. I think she'll understand because remember she's been through puberty herself.
