A male reader, anonymous, writes (20 March 2012):

....so tell us the real story, because this sounds like a sugarcoated version. Are you actively engaged in a dialogue with a woman with whom you have expressed your feelings to? Texts, emails? I think you're falling for someone else hard, and this isn't just some fantasy about going outside your marriage.

So_Very_Confused agony auntIt's a FANTASY... and it's PERFECTLY NORMAL in my opinion...

It is a SPECIFIC woman that you know (i.e. do you have a crush on someone)? or is it just a generalized feeling?

OR perhaps it's a porn star (Sunny Leone is quite the cutie) or a famous person?

Danielepew agony auntEveryone who is in a relationship at some point casts a more than uninterested look at someone else, and even wish to have sex with that other "forbidden fruit". That happens. What matters is whether you act on that. Are you intending to act on that?

A female reader, AuntyAlexxmo United Kingdom +, writes (20 March 2012):

AuntyAlexxmo agony auntLots of people think and fantasize about so so many different things that they would never do in real life, as long as they stay in your head and do not happen in real life then there is no reason anything needs to change between you and your wife.

If you thinking about doing it for real then that is different.
