writes:I'm so heart broken. my best friend and I have always acted like we were dating. we practically were, we've just never ask each other out. he and I have been "together" since last september. I mean at first we both knew just never said our feelings. and if we hooked up with anyone else we'd tell each other and itd upset each of us. I mean we really were "dating" and we had deep conversation and yadayada. I was in love. a few weeks ago we started talking like we were dating and telling each other how much we love each other and saying it alllll the time and we couldn't stop telling each other how we feel and what we love about each other and how we should spend more time together and it was perfect. then after a week we went back to normal but I'd still tell him I love him and he stopped saying it back. and yesterday he said "explain to me how you love me" and I didn't know what he meant like in which sense or like describe how I feel. and I described how I feel then he said I don't feel the same and I'm like I'd like it if you said something different, not saying mutual feelings but like a different reaction. but idk now we haven't really talked. I'm so confused... so does he not love me anymore? he hasn't talked to me all day and I miss him and I feel like I scared him... even though he told me we're getting married one day and EVEN TOLD HIS FRIENDS (which is a HUGE deal) he's in love with me and I'm his "future wife" lol. I thought it was cute... but now those feelings are gone?

 By the sounds of it, he likes the idea of being with you. Maybe he has found someone else, or he has gotten embarrased about what he has been telling his friends. I think you should ask him, in person, how he feels about you. Tell him you're confused as did say he loved you. Tell him it's wrong how he is hurting you like this and you want to know the truth.

 to be honest he probably did have feelings for u but up until september he couldnt find out if there were genuine or not sometimes we think we like someone but then realise we dont feel as strongly as we thought we would.he probably thought about it properly like what he loves about u and then wen he got ur response realised he didnt feel the same and that the love u have from his point of u is just a love in a best friend way and he maybe didnt want to ruin that.the getting married thing is all a big joke that wont happen u need to get over this and move on no matter how much u think u love him he doesnt feel the same back maybe u should ask him how he really feels about u and why he was saying he loved u if he didnt feel that way
