He added me on the Facebook and we started chatting, we have loads in common and I think he wants to be more then friends. However, when I see him around in college he doesn't say a lot, it looks like he's not interested even though he says so online. And when he does ,he likes to annoy me (guess he's flirting)but wont have a one on one chat with me? He's a bit of popular class clown even though I've leaned he can hold deep intelligent conversations online. But how come he cant hold a serious conversation with me face to face. Why is this? I see him talking to my bestfriend, they have private jokes online and in college (he jokes about kissing her, she says he does it to make me jealous)but why cant he have it with me? He's really popular and outgoing, surely talking to me wont be a problem?Does he just not like me enough?Thanks in advance

 I agree with Angeldelite, sometimes the class clown, the outgoing charming one, is really deeply insecure and shy.
Just continue to be yourself and maybe cut back a bit on the online talks to force him to have more contact with you face to face....

 maybe deep down he is not as confident as he appears. he jokes around with people at college and this can sometimes be a way for less confident people to put on an act that makes them look and feel better. he could be nervous about having a one to one conversation with you in person because he may worry about being lost for words. chatting on facebook is another matter, as he has got time to come up with witty, clever, well thought out replies. you maybe need to make more of an effort yourself to chat to him at college, he may be waiting for you to do this. if you talk in college and he doesn't seem very interested then you will know if he likes you or if he just enjoys passing the time on facebook with you
