writes:I met a girl yesterday through a mutual friend and I like her, am quite sure she was flirting with me but not 100%. I thought things were going well but now she hasnt text back, is she just playing 'hard to get'? I've texted her twice and she hasn't responded. Should I text again or just leave it? Obviously I'm not gonna be asking her out straight away or anything but I'd definitely like to get to know her better. Thanks for any help (:

reader, anonymous, writes (31 October 2010): Like the other posters have said, i would just give it a couple of days. There could be any number of reasons why she hasn't replied e.g. no credit, busy etc...
Just keep busy and don't think about it, if she's interested you'll hear from her if not then it's no big deal, it's her loss.

 I would suggest waiting till friday to text her again, if she doesnt respond then move on as she would have thought about you through the week.

 Give it time. If you've texted her twice in quite a short space of time then you might be coming across a bit too keen. Leave it for a few days and see if she replies. If she doesn't, try one more text and see what happens. If there's still no reply then she's probably not interested.

You've texted her twice and nothing come through. Give it three days, then text her again. If you don't get anything after that, then she's not worth it and it would be better to move on.
