Question - (16 October 2007) 4 Answers - (Newest, 17 October 2007)
A female United States age 41-50, anonymous writes:

I share an apartment with my older sister. A few weeks back I came home early and caught her and my older brother in her bed having sex. I was shocked at first and have not said anything. I have since found them two more times. I think this is something they must do a regular basis. Should I say anything or just let them have their secret.

Frank B Kermit agony auntThey are adults at this point, and it is none of your business. Stay out of it. However, if the circumstances make you feel uncomfortable, consider moving out, or at least ask them not to involve you by coming over to do it while you live there.

bemused agony auntAre they using birth control? God I hope so. I am a special education teacher and I have a student in my class with a severe gene deficency because of shenanigans like this. It might show a bit of class and culture if they desist from this nonsense. If they cannot they need to be using protection. It is crazy...the choices people make sometimes and it puts you in a miserable situation.

If it bothers you, which it obviously does if you're on here asking about it, I would confront them. And if not at the same time then maybe the one you're most comfortable talking to. Just ask what's going on with them and if they really think this is ok? Be supportive but let them know that you're uncomfortable with it and give your opinion.

TasteofIndia agony auntWell, goodness. You seem pretty cool with this whole thing. I don't hear any shock, any "ewwwww", anything from you! Hell yes, I'd tell someone. This behavior is no good and needs to stop.
