A male United States age 36-40, anonymous writes:

Ok so I have been talking to a girl for about 2 months now.

We are classmates in grad school and very busy. When we talk about what we want from our relationship, she says she doesn't know if she can handle a boyfriend right now because of school, and because she just got out of a long term relationship. Other than that, we hang out a lot, text a lot, and basically acted like a couple.

When the semester ended, we both went to our hometowns and we were apart. At first she told me she missed me and texted me all the time. She would text good morning and ask me how my day was going.

Then all of a sudden, it just kind of stopped.

And now I dont know what to do. Ive been texting her first for the past few days and i feel like Im being to clingy. Should I back off? Also, I dont know what could have changed, but does this mean shes over me?

Don't worry about it, it didn't sound like anything special anyways. Forget her number and find the next one.
