Okay, I'm taking birth control pills and I take them everyday on time.. never missed 1 in 2 months.

Me and my boyfriend had sex, and the condom broke. I took a pregnancy test and it was negitave and I'm on my period right now.

However, my friend told me that she was 6weeks pregnant and had no idea, and the pill kept making her get her period even though she was pregnant.

I'm obviously really hard to convince that I'm definitely not pregnant and really paranoid about it.. were only 17! please, advice? help? anything...

k_c100 agony auntFirst of all let me say congratulations for being the only sensible teenager on this site! Finally someone who uses condoms and the pill! It is nice to see someone with common sense so well done to you and your boyfriend!

I would say it is highly unlikely that you are pregnant. If you are having a period, the test is negative and you use birth control then I am 99.9% sure you are not pregnant.

However if you say you are finding it hard to be convinced that you are not pregnant then go to your doctor - hearing it from a professional may help to put your mind at ease. They may be able to give you a proper medical examination or pregnancy test which may give more conclusive results than a test at home.

I hope this helps!

chazx agony auntI doubt that your pregnant but if you are scared stop taking the pill beccause if you are pregnant then the pill can make it go ectopic.

Give it 2-3 weeks and take the test again if still negative go back on the pill, and if a condom splits use another one.

If you need me email me hugs shar x
