writes:So my new boyfriend has invited me to his annual works Christmas party at an elegant hotel. Not only am i meeting his friends and co-workers, im also meeting his family. Only thing is, he hasnt told his family yet that we've been dating and wants to wait until the party to introduce them to me. Im a little nervous on what to wear, and what to expect from them since we have quite of an age difference, we live 4 hours away and were an interracial couple. Hes not sweating it at all he thinks everything will be perfectly fine. But the fact that he said his mother will ask a million questions and he has a very judgemental sister, doesnt quite settle well with me. What can i do to get this anxious, nervous feeling to go away.

 Ok i know it seems daunting to meet the boyfriends family and friends. BUT keep it in perspective, they are only human and they probably just as keen to meet you! maybe even more nervous.
Wear something comfortable, and just relax on the day... breathe deeply play your favorite song before you go, get into the happy spirit and have a good time! thats what parties are for and get to know his family by asking questions :)
