writes:Last night I got a text from my best friend. She asked if i wanted to go to the mall on Thursday. i said sure, and then i got another text from her today at 1 pm. She had said that she couldn't go because her ride bailed, and i told her it was fine. Then at 2pm her new facebook status was "Does anyone want to go to the mall on Thursday??" And I saw her and another one of my friends talking about when they were going to the mall. After I read all of their comments i texted my best friend seeing if she would bring up the mall trip. She never did.

reader, anonymous, writes (29 December 2010): Well, she probably just wants to go to the mall and doesn't care who she goes with. Now she is trying to find a ride, and maybe thinks she can't bring somebody along unless the person driving her tells her to. But, I would keep an eye on her behavior from now on. She doesn't sound like a very good friend to me.
