i have been with B since i was 19 and he was 20 . are relationship has always been a little rocky we have 2 kids and been married for 8 years i have son from a previose relationship and he never treated him like his own . he is an alcholic and i have begged him for years to stop and i have stood by his side threw 3 dwi's he resintly went to jail over the last one and i fieled for divorce . while he was in jail i moved on with some one else who doesn't drink and treats me like a queen and treats my kids like his own and we are madly in love, but my husbund wants me back and swears he is done drinking and will do anything to prove it to me. what do i do give my husband another chance i have already gave him sevral chances to quit, but we have a family together so do i try one more time or go with the man i am in love with and i know wont ever hurt me like my husbend has. i still love my husband but he has hurt me bad in the past and there is no trust there anymore.

A male reader, CaringGuy United Kingdom +, writes (9 February 2010):

You are in love with this new guy who has already proved he is better than your ex. I think if you go back to your ex again, you will only be let down. Yes, you have a family with him, but he can still be a good father without you being there. Stay with the good guy who has already proved himself first time around.
