hi please help me. i mmarried a turkish man 15 mths ago, not to give him a visa, wwe are very much in love. well, i think its the same for him but i have my doubts. he;s been refused a visa twice now on the grounds of them not believing we are for real. to cut a long story short, a turkish mans name popped up on my email, so my friend and i started chatting to him an craftely asked some questions to do with my husband, as he said he was from the same village. an guess wot he knew my husband and when i asked if he knew he;s wifes name he said yes an stated her name and knew them very well. i alrdy knew her name i didnt mention it to this man but it was the same name. i feel really cheated, im so upset about this. all i want to do now is finish with him. when i look back at our wedding, the day after we married, i had to return to uk. i asked my husband if i could go back to the village with him and stay longer but he said no cos his mum was poorly. i think he must have had his wife there even tho he had divorce papers when we got married. what do i do? he has helped me when he was here illegally and we lived together and got on great, but now i think he just wants the visa. as my friend is in the same position as me but has left her husband due to him sleeping with he;s x wife when he went to turkey. he was the one who introduced me to my husband. what do i do?

Go to the authorities and tell them the story, and see if they will deport him. The tell everyone you know so that they don't get scammed. Staying quite is the WORST thing you can do.

A female reader, ctds001 United Kingdom +, writes (2 July 2010):

Hey Honey,

There was a documentry on women being scammed by Turkish men. They were marrying older women tourist and then persuading them to sell their UK homes and build houses in Turkey by sending money to their turkish husbands.

Needless to say when the money ran out the Turkish men were moving thir Turkish wives and children into the houses. Leaving their tourist wife penniless and broke.

DO NOT become like these women! Get an annullment and never contact him again.

Let us know what you decide

Good Luck x
