A female United States age 51-59, anonymous writes:

My girlfriend and best friend prior to us getting together, recently broke up with me because of my apparent jealousy towards her new friend. two weeks later she started seeing this friend, telling me that it was never her intention on being with her it just happened. my problem is i am very much in love with this girl and she still wants me in her life as her best friend. She excepts that im in love with her, and i don't hide the fact that i am. my problem is she wants me to be there for her and acccept that shes moved on with somebody else and gets very angry at me when i still get jealous of this new relationship. she feels i have no right to be jealous.
