A female United States age 30-35, *ivejust2bJess writes:

Ever since i was little, i always had a bladder problem. Where I accidently leak in my underwear and no matter what I do, it always happens...i can hold my bladder and tell when to go, but i "tinkle" and it is quite embrassing, especially when I'm with my fiance and we are trying to be romantic. Is there a way to hide this or stop it?

Honeypie agony auntLike the other "Aunties" said, talk to your doctor. None else can help you fix this. IT is not an uncommon problem.

So_Very_Confused agony auntyou must see a doctor.

there are several kinds of incontince and most are fixable.

stress incontince is when you sneeze or cough and tinkle... very annoying...

URGE incontince is when you get the urge to go and you can't stop it... usually happens ON THE WAY TO THE BATHROOM

overflow incontince when you can't completely empty the bladder

functional incontince (not really an issue as this is mobility related in older physically impaired folks)

or

mixed (what I have) which is two or more types usually urge and stres combined which is GREAT FUN!

See a doctor. This is very common. You need medical advice on this, but there are lots of things they can do to help/cure the problem.

person12345 agony auntYou'd have to go see a doctor. They have things they can prescribe. I mean it's pretty common to occasionally leak a bit if you laugh/cough/sneeze really hard, but if it's happening a lot a doctor should be able to prescribe something help. You should see a urologist/specialist if you can, though if you don't have insurance it might cost more and not be worth it without a referral.
