writes:Is it wrong to be best friends with groups of teachers?I am 13 and I have quite a few friends who are teachers, I sometimes have lunch with them, I have some of their e-mail addresses and even get hugs off them. They joke around with me and they tell me I am 1 in a million ( I'm not saying anything to sound big headed) and that if I have a problem they will always be there to help.Is this wrong???

 yah its ok im close to alot of mine. one of mine even bought me lunch...lol. its kool and inleast u can stay away from drama. even through its kool to hav teacher friends its also kool to hav friends ur own age but me personaly i get along with teachers more.

 Theres nothing wrong with it. Just i think its better that you have friends your own age, i had teacher friends and school mates. School isnt just about education its about learning to socialise and making friends is a huge part of this

reader, anonymous, writes (30 July 2008): hi i dn't think that there is anything wrong with this at all, it just shows that you can get on with people of all agies, the only thing i would say is that your probably going to have more in common with people ur own age rather than teachers.
you know they may be married and would be in to that sort of thing or morgages and stuff, but i still think that there is no problem with this, and that there is no resson why you carn't be friends with people of all diffrent agies...

 I don't see anything wrong atal with being good friends with the teacher's, infact its a good thing. But as wiccan wonder says if it becomes anything more than friends there there would be a problem. But just joking around & having lunch with them is absolutely fine.

theres not a problem if its just friendship, but i do hope you have friends your own age aswell. just be sure the friendship does not go any deeper than that

 no, there is absolutly nothing wrong with being friends with teachers, but obviously if it becomes any sexual (kissing etc.) there is something wrong with that, but if it is just friendship, there is no problem with that =]
