Is he hoping to cheat with this girl or just entertain her crush on him?

Question - (15 July 2011) 1 Answers - (Newest, 15 July 2011)
A female United States age 41-50, anonymous writes:

I found an email exchange between my boyfriend and girl that has been extremely flirtatious with him on facebook.

She told him she'd be in town for a few days in the fall and not to tell anyone but that she'd like to hang out with him. She signed off xoxo

He told her he may be in her area in a month and also asked to meet with her, signing off XOXO.

I'm scared that it is a formula for cheating. They seem close yet I've never heard of her (i've been dating my man for a year now).

I want to trust the situation, but it is clear this woman has a crush/obsession with him.

What is he doing??? and What do I do about it??

VSAddict agony auntIf you've been with him a year, then you should have enough trust to believe he'll walk away. And if he does cheat, then the relationship will be over and he'll have lost someone important as a punishment. But if you find out he doesn't, then how would you feel? Start trusting him and realize that opposite sex friends can say xoxo and it means nothing. And try to refrain from snooping so you can build some trust. Has he cheated before?
