Hey guys so I just got a new job and at my job there are two girls one of them who is my supervisor who plot against people and get them fired one of the girls has the hugest crush and I think shes sleeping with the CEO of the company and I think a lot of her jealousy towards other woman in the company comes from her insecurities.but these girls are conniving and are evil and have already gotten four girls fired just over personal reasons and I am afraid that my job is under jeopardy. Now I have already spoken with one of the HR Who is temporarily HR about the situation and they are aware but I am still scared that these girls will try to find any little reason to get me fired she goes behind my back I hear and talks about me what do I do and how do I handle the situation further.PS the worst thing is she will be fake to me and be really nice to my face just like she does with other people and then she will talk behind my back and she does this with everybody she will complement me and then go behind my back and talk about me and my Instagram to other people just in general she likes to gossip about everybody and get everybody fired

Going behind your back and talking about you will not compromise the value of a hardworking, productive, focused-employee.

People don't just get fired so easily; unless the company is a tank to begin with. How can you make money when you're always short employees? When you fire people, you have to pay them unemployment compensation. That's four people out of work!!! If they're past their 90-day probationary-periods, they can apply! To deny them unemployment benefits requires the employer to contest or deny the claim. It will have to be justified with facts to prove why the employee is not entitled to compensation. Such as misconduct, frequent tardiness, total incompetence, lack of qualifications, insubordination, or false-credentials. Not just because his mistress doesn't like you!

The Department of Labor will start sniffing around; because somebody is going to file a complaint for unfair and wrongful-termination of employment. It's not all that easy to just toss people about in the United States. As an employer, you'll pay one-way or another! If you're a crap of an employer, people report it online. Unlike the good ole days; you didn't get to rate, complain, or criticize your former or current employers for the world to see!

Best you don't make a habit of bad-mouthing former-employers online! Better have your ducks in a row when complaining to HR as well! It could be detrimental to your future employment elsewhere; if you're just a disgruntled worker, and your firing was justified! Prospective-employers get to inquire as to why you were let-go! They also checkout the business ethics, background, statistics, and reputation of your last employer. That counts too!

Losing money isn't worth sleeping around with trouble-makers! Nor is placing your company's reputation at risk!

If it's a small-business; they're likely to run themselves into the ground anyway.

I think you're too distracted over gossip. Work your butt off! Make them have to find a good reason to let you go!

Get your head down, focus on your work, prove you're invaluable to the business; and stop running to HR based on hearsay and assumptions you can't prove!

You're being paranoid; and you don't really know all the details behind why the other girls were let-go. Just because someone sleeps with the boss doesn't override the bottom-line. Who has the power anyway? The boss, or the underling?

If the boss is too busy sleeping around with his female-employees and firing people on a whim; maybe you should be looking for another job anyway!

Honeypie agony auntFirst off, how much of your post is presumptions ans speculations and how much could you actually PROVE if you had to?

" I think shes sleeping with the CEO "

"I think a lot of her jealousy towards other woman in the company"

Those are speculations.

You talk about two "girls" What are their job titles that they can somehow RUN the company and get people fired?

And lastly, IF what you write IS all true, and I were in your shoes, I'd look for another job ASAP with a more ADULT group of employees. This sound like a toxic and hostile work environment.

So UNTIL you get another job...You go there to work, it's a job. If some people WANT to create drama or try and get you fired, by guess is there is NOTHING you can do.

Going to HR with no real proof is only going to make YOU look like the one stirring shit up.

And lastly... Be more mindful of your OWN social media, what you post and WHO you let follow you, you have to be SMART both when it comes to work and online safety. WHO CARES if she rags on your Instagram posts? Unless you post negative stuff about your work, it has NOTHING to do with your job.

This sounds like a high school lunch room not a company! And ANY CEO who lets some "chick" he is sleeping with run amok and "get" people fired isn't worth a pot to pee in!

First thing Monday morning look and see what jobs are out there.
