A female Philippines age 30-35, *uleskee writes:

Okay erm, I think I'm falling for my best guy friend, but I still like this other guy.

Here's the deal. I met Guy in class, and I liked him since the first day. And then, Best Guy Friend is in this other class.

Guy took a long time to make friends with me, like, when the class was almost over. (He made the first move) BGF was in my circle of friends from the other class.

Guy and I text a lot ever since he asked for my number, and we talked online once. But, whenever I'm online, he doesn't talk to me, so I'm not sure if he likes me or not even though all my friends tell me that he likes me. And he's like, my dream guy, except he isn't as affectionate as BGF.

BGF, on the other hand, is the boy-next-door type. He liked this girl in our class, but she went for BGF's best friend, so he gave up. Now, he has a thing with this other girl in our class, but I really think he's using her as a rebound thing. Anyway, I also tell him about Guy, and he said that Guy's a total ass for not liking me and how could he not see how awesome I am.

One night, while we were talking, he admitted to me that he likeD me and said that we would have been great together (and I really think that we'd make the perfect match). I started contemplating and realized that he had a lot of the qualities I looked for in a boyfriend. Now, we keep telling each other that we love and miss each other (but in a best friend way). He's acting really sweet and telling me that he knows we're gonna be together in the future. He even put his last name after my full name!

So, I decided to tell him that I likeD him too (which I sort of did after agreeing with his point about us being good together). Now, I'm asking my friends for help.

I really really really like Guy, but I liked other guys better while I liked him. But then I realized that those other guys just went away and Guy remained in my heart. Does that mean anything?

My friends are rooting for Guy since he's not psychotic like BGF. [Okay, he isn't really psychotic.] But I really wish that Guy had BGF's personality, and BGF to have Guy's looks. Am I being fickle? My friend keeps calling me an emotional cheater because I LIKE THEM BOTH. [But I keep saying that Guy is the guy I like better, but I keep thinking about BGF.]

Oh man, I said a lot of things, now I probably confused you guys. But I hope you can help me out. Thank you!

A male reader, uh oh United Kingdom +, writes (18 June 2009):

let your feelings develop

personality looks

dont chose someone just because they are better looking.

the foundation of love is friendship and i think that you should go with GUY BEST FRIEND because atleast he's bothering to make an effort.

The better option is always the option where less people get hurt

=D message me if you need any advice :D
