I have an uneasy feeling about my husband's use of Cialis and his locked cell phone!

A female United States age 51-59, anonymous writes:

My husband has been secretly taking cialis for some time now. At first my brother in law would give them to him, but as of July last year he has a prescription. Problem is, he uses them even when we are not having sex. I found one in his pocket, he carries them around in his bag and he also use them when we have sex. I counted them when I went out this morning and once I return a half of one was gone. I've noticed every Tuesday they decrease whether we have sex or not (mostly not). However, there's no evidence. He is always home at night. He does however has a code on his phone and will not let me see his phone or have his code. It's so bad that if someone calls him you can't see who is calling or texting him. I've always felt something wasn't right but now more than ever. Even down to him faking orgasms... It just all feels weird. It could be me and he is enjoying some time up alone with himself and cialis.

I have a similar scenario. My husband ordered 2 boxes of Cialis which I saw under his sink. He told me he had stopped taking it. Within days, one box is missing. He's taking them to work with him in his briefcase. From what I've read, it starts working 30 minutes to two hours after taking it. Why does he take it at work? Why is he not taking it at home?

He also is very private on his phone. He also has it password protected. I'm thinking of hiring a private investigator to get to the bottom of it. Showing up at work is futile, as he works with mostly women and owns the company. My advice would be leave it to a professional so you know once and for all what is going on.

sugarplum786 agony auntDon't confront him as he will just out right deny it and you will end up looking the bad one. Also he will be more careful if he is in an affair.

Can you not get his telephone account? Also maybe its time to surprise visit him with lunch at work - nothing wrong with that, just you will be familiarising yourself with his surrounding.

person12345 agony auntWhile Cialis is often taken daily as opposed to as needed, your husband's behavior is highly suspicious. Your gut is usually right and the hiding who's calling and texting is a pretty major red flag. I think you need to gather evidence and confront him.

This is a tricky one. The first question I'd like to ask is; Does he have female colleagues? If he does, there could be a chance there is an affair going on with one of them during work hours.

I find it unusual he's taking the medication regularly. Have you asked him why he's taking it so often? Maybe you could 'catch him' doing it one day (when there's a small chance the two of you can have sex. eg as he's going to work) and ask him why he's doing it? That way there'll be no excuse if he says he took it because he wanted to have sex with you.

The phone thing is definitely an issue but at the same time everyone is entitled to their privacy. Maybe when he's playing on his phone, you could go and put your arms around him or cuddle up to him and see what his reaction is. If he turns his phone screen away from you or quickly gets off his phone, you'll know something is up.

I think you really need to ask him about the Cialis though. There are a lot of side effects for this drug and maybe he isn't aware of this? I hope things work out for you.
