I have a playlist set uup on my phone which I listen to frequently and it has "Say it Right" by Nelly Frtado on it. This song has no true meaning to me, I just think it's a good song, but at times, when I hear it, I seem to just get this feeling that I'm never going to settle into a strong relationship...ever. I've frequently said to some friends that I feel that nobody will ever want to be with me but they tell me I'm an awesome person etc which does help.I do believe this could be part of low self-esteem and confidence amongst other things.Is there a way to get over this and if so, how? My family once forced me to have counciling (I have no idea why) which did me nothing and I'm not depressed or anything like that.Thanks for any help :)

Peterk5699 is verified as being by the original poster of the question Thanks for the quick answer. Clingy is the last thing I'd want to be. I do go out bt never approach anyone, I guess I should start doing that, eh?
I'm supposed to be going on a date tomorrow bt for some reason have this gt feeling she isn't gonna turn up and make an excuse. Yeah, I know, not a nice thought but it's happened in the past.
Bt yeah, I'm gonna try and get approaching peopple.

 i always feel like i will never have a strong relationship with anyone but your friends should help you and you will find a relationship one day but if you wrorry about it all the time then you never will because you may become clingy
just at the moment have fun go out and see who you find one of the boys you pull ould be the one
have as much confidence because that helps alot
