writes: i get calls on my mobile every lunch time by this girl in the year below. i'm 16 she's 15. she tells me she loves me. she knows exactly what i get for lunch which is spooky! she's is nuts about me. but say's she wants to meet me. she wont tell me her name. i dunno where she got my number from. she must of made a big effort! any ideas how i could find out? she always hides her number. i dont want to say yes i want to meet her coz it could be a prank and dont wanna get laughed at but i dont think it is! so any ideas how i find out who it is? my friends dont know!  i think its a really really really really shy girl, people who are really shy and unconfident about themselves usually make themselves known at this level, sadly, i have done something similar to this... which i would never do again cuz i know this kind of thing is always embarassing when u look back to it

If this girl likes you enough to stop playing games and talk to you in person, that's when I think it would be a good idea to actually get together with her. I agree - I think it's spooky that she knows what you get for lunch. Instead of spying on you, she could at least say "hello" or something. That's just my opinion, though.
If it is a prank, then someone has a little too much time on their hands - because that means that they DO actually follow you around to see what you're eating. lol Okay, and you say your friends don't know who it is - but what if they're the ones pulling the prank? They're not going to tell you if they're trying to burn you, you know?
I would just sit back and ignore the messages. If this girl is real and she is serious, then she'll eventually want to talk to you.

 This girl has a mad crush on you to the point where she seems obsessed.Scary or what?! But then again you're right, it could be a prank.
One suggestion would be that you wait and see if the person reveals themselves OR just ignore her (DON'T respond to texts) and then just wait until she gets the point and leaves you alone. But if you're really curious and if it's getting annoying then you'll just have to agree to meet her. And if it's a prank, so what! What's the worst that could happen? Exactly! Nothing. So just do what you feel is best for you from one of my suggestions.

reader, anonymous, writes (8 December 2006): Well it is easier for you to find out how this girl actually is, cox it may be a set up to know the type of a guy you really are. The way you can get her now is that, when she call you again on a luach, tell to come meeting so that both of you can go out for the lauch, but you going with her doenst not really mean she have be accepted, but that all you want from her is the see her for real 1st, and if she refused. Than you know it is a setup or a close friend that want to know a true you are.
