I don't trust my long distance lover. Why hasn't he contacted me today, he usually does?

Question - (15 September 2007) 3 Answers - (Newest, 16 September 2007)
A female United States age 41-50, anonymous writes:

My bf and I are in a long distance relationships, so we talk on the phone a lot, he calls me on the mornings, noon , and at night...However, today, I spent the whole morning, noon and night calling him and text messaging him. He did not answer nor he txt me back. He sent me a Txt. message at 7:30 pm saying that he was very busy and will call me later. My question is: come on didn't he have a minute to send me just a txt message earlier so that i did not have to worry. I don't understand why he did this today, I was starting to think that he did not wanted to talk to him. Am I over reacting? I mean he always finds a way to call me, why didn't he call today? I have a problem with beliving him.. he had lie to me before; and I haven't been able to trust him since.. and that's why I over react this way, 'cause I get this gut's feelings...

Any advice will be really apreciated

Fairy_Lu agony auntIm sure if he says he is busy he probably is just busy, but if you dont trust him then you are always going to be paranoid that he is lying to you, ask yourself is it really worth it can you have a relationship with no trust?
