A female United States age 30-35, *adyIris writes:

Hey my boyfriend and I broke up after 2 weeks of dating he said he needed space and wanted to enjoy being single but over text messaging, that he still loved me and he would always be there for me. He said he loves me more then anyone else. I just rolled my eyes and didnt believe him but this happend over spring break. But on the very first day I got back he came and saw me after first period and saw me every other day, his friends said he still really liked me too. He ignored me for awhile because I think he thought I was mad at him when he poked me one day but I was only having a bad day. We started talking again and have had romantic moments, with tight hugs he says "yay" every time we hug goodbye and he stares at me A LOT and gets jealous when other guys talk to me. We also poke each other a lot too I care about him a lot and I don't mind being friends but I don't want to lose contact with him during the summer im just confused I need help.

dirtball agony auntWhat's your question? It's not really clear. If you don't mind being his friend, then carry on just as you are. If you don't want to lose contact, then make sure to maintain it. It's interpersonal skills 101. I assume you have other friends, it's the same with him as it is with them.
