A female United States age 36-40, anonymous writes:

This shy guy has a major crush on me.

We don't talk much because he gets nervous talking to me.

So One day while nervously talking to me he suddenly bring up the food topic ...telling me about his favorite Mexican food he gets from this Mexican eatery .

When I told him that I like the same dish too , he suggested me to get it from the eatery.

I was surprised he even made this long conversation with me that too about food.

He always seems awakward and nervous around me. Was he hinting towards going out together and wanted me to take the hint and ask him to join me or he couldn't say it due to nervousness or am I reading too much into it...?

aunt honesty agony auntHas he told you he has a major crush on you or are you just guessing about how he feels? If he is shy he will be nervous, I think you are reading to much in to this conversation. If you like him as him out, no need to play games.

Denizen agony auntWe don't know whether he was hinting or not, but what is the real question here? Are you asking how to encourage him to invite you out?

You say he has a major crush on you but this is just your reading of the situation. What do you feel? That is the point. What do you want, and what are you going to do about it?
